  1. Poor Griff That sucks that he's not well again. I hope you get some answers today Sparks.
  2. She looks nutty All black pugs are crazy
  3. CM - that backlit one of Lotus is stunning
  4. I expect lots of photos of girls having a fun time, Shell ETA That sounds slightly suggestive, but I swear I didn't mean it that way Day 076 - 17.03.11 Grateful for... Kid's Chucks. Converse for little people, perfect. Day 077 - 18.03.11 Grateful for... Sid getting his stitches out this morning so he could have a bath. Mwahahahahaha!
  5. Harry was PTS in November last year. He had a very sudden and major change in behaviour that was probably due to a brain tumour. I still miss him everyday and my four year old son still asks where he is quite frequently. Today we have to take Sid to the vet and I know Ollie is going to ask if we can see Harry (because we left him there) His rainbow bridge thread is here: http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=208857 And a little slideshow of photos: http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=209088
  6. That's awesome Sid's dad is a bit of a legend. I heard your boss had his eye on Sid actually :D
  7. Lola was like that after Harry was PTS. She has only picked up since we got Sid last week. It's heartbreaking to witness. I'm so sorry that you lost your girl
  8. That's our yard But yes, KTaP won in the end. I'm very happy I decided on that name too. Check out Sid snoozing while I vacuumed yesterday: Oh and snoozing again this afternoon. I have got him into a routine of sleeping when my kids are asleep during the day
  9. Day 074 - 15.03.11 Grateful for... Sid's lack of reaction to the vacuum cleaner. And yes, it was on! Day 075 - 16.03.11 Grateful for... Sid's paperwork arriving. My first ever registered purebred puppy And his breeder even sent him some toys in the parcel. How cute is that?!
  10. It's a relatively steep learning curve, but once you have a grasp of the numbers, it becomes second nature. It you really want to learn, you can Then you just practice. A lot You have the added obstacle of owning a white dog I've only just learnt what that's like.
  11. Ok, yep, the 1.8 will autofocus on your camera
  12. Oooh actually Rozzie, you need to make sure you camera model has the focus motor, because the 1.8 doesn't have it.
  13. High five! I only ask because I think some Canon peeps had troubles with theirs.
  14. The 1.8 was my first lens and is super cheap. Now that I've used the 1.4, I probably wouldn't bother paying the extra for it. Are you Canon or Nikon? I never use the 1.8 below 2.2, so the ability to stop down to 1.4 isn't all that useful to me.
  15. What did you get MTD? Got my macro lens out again yesterday:
  16. The 1.4 stops down to 1.4 And is heavier and more robust. The 1.8 is very light and plastic. I've used both (Nikon) and can't tell the difference in my photos.
  17. Day 073 - 14.03.11 Grateful for... Ed testing negative to Whooping Cough.

    Wont Lead Train

I actually put the lead on my 10 week old puppy for the first time a couple of days ago. I didn't 'lead' him at all, just let him wear it and drag it behind him while he was having a little play with another (calm adult) dog. Then this morning I took my other dog for a short walk and carried the puppy with his lead on again. When we got close to home, I popped him down with my other dog and he walked on lead like a little champion So what LM says is a good idea Make it fun, have patience and reward, reward, reward.
  19. Day 072 - 13.03.11 Grateful for... Outtakes I've really been taking for granted how easy Lola is to pose. She stays, she looks when I ask her and is generally pretty easy to photograph. Sid needs a bit of training.
