How do you feel about squished faces? My Frenchie is a wonderful little guy, doesn't drop too much coat, is happy to play with the kids or chill out with me. I'm yet to hear him bark (besides in play with my pug).
-
Thanks tlc. The poor little guy is so bored. I feel awful for him being in the crate all the time. Here is another pic:
-
I don't blame you tlc, it's tough going. I have nearly quit a few times, it's sheer stubbornness and a little bit of cheating that keeps me at it. Day 197 - 16.07.11 Grateful for... Sid resting quietly with his sore leg. Day 198 - 17.07.11 Grateful for... Beautiful locations and gorgeous light. Day 199 - 18.07.11 Grateful for... When he gets home early enough to hang out with the boys before bed. Day 200 - 19.07.11 Grateful for... Catching some sun after two days at the vet. Day 201 - 20.07.11 Grateful for... Ibuprofen and Vicks. Day 202 - 21.07.11 Grateful for... Long leads.

Oops - forgot to update. We had a check up yesterday and he is fine Foot was completely dry and the bandages were removed. He still has a lot of swelling at the site and is limping more now that he doesn't have the support of the bandages. He is also paying much more attention to the surgery site, so has to have the cone on more often. The trouble with suspending a water bowl, is that he can't drink out of it with the cone on. I'm tempted to cut the cone down, but I don't want to cut it too far and have him licking the wound.
-
Poor Archie No, Sid had the snip way back before he came home. He has fractured his tibial crest and had surgery on Monday.
-
He is getting so big! Lovely work. Now, I need the cone explained, because his little buddy Sid is sporting one too at the moment

- Rockies! Pug or puglet. Frenchie or frogdog :D

I'm spending half my days phoning people for microchip numbers at the moment!
-
Good reminder! Also, a little community service announcement: All puppies born after July 1st and registered with Dogs QLD must be microchipped. And all dogs transferred after the 1st of July with Dogs QLD must be microchipped. Not sure when the other states are going to start enforcing the rule.

A couple more: Part Two of the series has been blogged http://www.katietakesapicture.com.au/?p=293

Eh? Foot falling off? Anyway, he's fine. I used paper towel to soak up some of the water. It wasn't too wet anyway, his water bowl was really shallow. We're seeing the vet on Saturday again so she can check up on everything.
-
Thanks Oso He was really good today, no damage when I got home (except his bandaged foot in his water bowl ).
-
Cuuuuuute. My parents have a black MS too :D
-
Ooooh lovely
-
He's just got bandages, but lots of them. He has the red one and then a sticky white one over the top to keep it in place. Poor little guy. I hope he's ok at home.
-
I think I use the 24mm the most and probably use the 50mm and the 105mm quite equally.
-
He's ok. Unfortunately I can't bring him into work, but I think he should be ok at home. He's crated, with his bed up one end and paper down the other. I did leave the cone on him this morning, because I can't trust him to leave his leg alone. He was really good though and left it alone lastnight and he's only been going outside on lead for wees. Back to the vet on Saturday so she can check his temp and bandages etc. I saw the xrays of his knee before - omg, he did some damage. The little tibial crest was waaaay out from where it should have been. Anyway, here's the little patient yesterday afternoon:
-
Wow - thanks for that Raffiki. Those xrays are really interesting! I plan on taking some photos of the sad sack when I get home later. For now though, there is a whole thread of photos dedicated to The Sid: http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/216695-dol-meet-sid/

Ask Serena about her groovy gumboots They were leaky. By the end of the shoot she had to go and hop into the shower, I love how grotty she was willing to get for the images :D Not so much in the ones above, but in the next batch there is lots of sand.
-
Yep, two super cute butts. Simon's is bigger though.
-
Oh good - Electra was younger too, so hopefully keeping the pin in Sid's leg doesn't cause any problems. I just talked to one of the nurses and she asked if she can keep him He had a good night, left his bandage alone (but ripped up his bed ).
-
He's always charming the laaaaaadies And the men, actually.
-
A while ago Serena asked if I would shoot her and Simon - ermmm *gulp*. It all went ahead yesterday and I love how you can see the bond that has formed between them More here: http://www.katietakesapicture.com.au/?p=275

Nawwwww! Thank you so much for telling me Ams! That makes me feel better :D He snores so loudly I'm feeling a bit sad tonight because he had to stay overnight, my poor boy. Apparently surgery was successful though and he did a fair bit of damage to that little tibial crest. I'll bring him home tomorrow afternoon. Not sure yet if the pins will have to come out. He might have done enough growing, but the vet isn't sure, so it's a wait and see thing.
