  1. Aww, that photo makes me miss my chooks! Here are my last two:
  2. I have a preference for pied Frenchies, but I am not the biggest fan of Sid's colouring (he lacks pigment around his eyes and ears, which means we have to be super careful with the sun). However, he ticked every other box and his temperament is superb, so I can overlook the colour stuff.
  3. Yeah, I like the filmy sort of vibe All done in LR - with a touch in PS.
  4. Good idea! I managed to hang onto the P365 wagon (just!). Here are mine from the last few days:
  5. Ah, well in that case - New Farm park is very popular with photographers - there are a variety of spots to choose from and it's relatively central.
  6. If you got the D700 I would have to mug you :p That's next on my hit list, then I can have the D300 for the back up.
  7. Wahhhhhhh, I want the 85mm. Why can't you be Nikon? :p
  8. Have you asked the photographer? They usually know the spots that get the best light etc
  9. A lens that is a fixed focal length - it doesn't 'zoom'. You zoom in and out with your feet, rather than the lens ;)
  10. No, the 50mm is a prime - the lens is fixed at 50mm. I only use primes, so don't have a clue about zooms.
  11. The crowd was funny, it was like watching fireworks, all the ooohs and ahhhs.
  12. He was amazing, Raz. I have another OOF one of him soooo high. He was too fast for me.
  13. It was quiet early in the day when the chi wee was in the bag - he barely moved the whole time I won't be there today. I hope Maggie has a good time. Go early or late - it was very hot there yesterday!
  14. Not a dog: And Sid sleeping on the job (he was a perfectly behaved little trooper all day):
  15. This one? :p Pugs are awesome, but they shed loads. Frenchies are also awesome, a bit more active and shed much less.
  16. I will be working there on Saturday with Sid
  17. providing the breeder registered the pups in the owners name and not their own Yes - that's what I was going to say. If you are still in contact with the breeder, get them to arrange the transfer. The OP does not know who bred the dog. Even if she did know who bred the dog and the breeder followed the correct procedure and transfered the dog to the purchaser, there is nothing the breeder can do. The transfer can only be done by the person that is named on the registration papers. Trust me Oak, I'm well aware of procedures for transfer ;) I didn't read the OP properly though

  19. Poor Otto I still use mine a lot. I was second shooting a very wet wedding a couple of weeks ago, it was really dark and the 50mm came in so handy.
  20. Gosh Carli's photos are getting around - they're everywhere at the moment. We are both in a pet photography group on FB, so I have seen how these have gone viral. She is very talented.
