Just like film is processed, I believe digital needs to be too - especially if you shoot RAW. I don't care what people say about processing, to me, it is necessary. Of course, things can always be taken too far (and they often are!) and I could be accused of over processing, but that is my style and I will stick with it :)

Bitey face here too, Lola drives me nuts with the noise she makes though. Vintage bitey:

Thanks :) I have a little stockpile of selfie ideas in my head and I think that's the first one that's come out as I'd pictured

RIP Busta Our boy Harry was PTS because of a brain tumour that caused a very rapid change in behaviour. It was a heartbreaking decision and I still think about him all the time. Condolences to Steve and his family.

Go on, you know you want to...

I feel sorry for people with docked dogs (although I prefer the look). The amount of times I've had people come up to me when I'm with Sid and start banging on about cruelty And then they don't believe me when I say he was born that way.

I like! Cool idea. Gorgeous colours! Cool idea. I didn't notice the birds at first, the little suprise is lovely.

Bahahaha! Awesome. What awards? I was watching the QPPA judging last Saturday and then ate chocolate and drank vodka on Saturday night to drown my sorrows

I know you probably want to sell it all together, but if you can't, can you let me know? I'd like the 28-80 :)

Thirteen 'Built an aeroplane It was just like the real ones I saw when I was younger, But it was too small for me To crawl inside the cockpit and fly away. At a million miles an hour...' - Something For Kate

Most of them are f2.8, 1/200th and ISO 1600.
-
I take group shots with the 24mm, usually at around f5.6 if they are all standing shoulder to shoulder.

I upgraded from the D300s (although I have kept it as back up, it's still a good camera). I am suprised at the amount of difference, I seriously didn't think I'd notice it that much. The biggest differences for me are: - The quality in low light - The full frame is lovely. My 24mm on the FX is sooooo wide. I love it. - The detail when I zoom in is beautiful, I can crop so much more. - There is far more detail in the darker areas. - I seem to be able to blow my whites more and still recover them (I discovered that after shooting the engagement party on the weekend with my new flash). - Everything is slightly sharper, especially eyes - Backgrounds are different, bokeh is different - nicer, creamier.
-
I need another bag now

Last year I managed to take in my D300s and the 50mm and the 105mm. I did get stopped at the door - he questioned it because it was quite obviously professional gear. I told him it was for personal use and he let me in (but told me not to get caught!). It was a smallish venue though, so I didn't have to worry about the distance to the stage as much. The guy who had the paid gig was right up the front and was shooting with something super wide 14-24 maybe? and using flash. Here are a few shots:

 I do love me my Nikon ;) Really noticed the difference when I shot an engagement party on the weekend.

Sneaking in a bit early, as I have a hectic week coming up. 'And for one crowded hour You were the only one in the room...' -Augie March

No noise reduction at all (I don't have any). You should see them cropped to 100%, it has floored me. I am shooting an engagement party tonight and can't wait to see how it goes.
-
The comparisons were tough, because one is FX and one is DX. They really need to be big so you can see the difference. Anyway, ISO6400...

It has to differ by three letters. It can't sound the same as an existing prefix. It can't be the same as an overseas prefix. Prefixes have to be unfinancial for 10 years before they can be re-issued to someone else (or someone who wants something similar), and even then it can't be the same breed. Each prefix submitted is looked at individually, and if you have any questions, I would be contacting someone in the office of your state body.

A few more. Same subject matter, but I still can't get over how well it goes in low light. I should take some side by side comparisons with the D300. All of the above were ISO 3200.
