I managed to cram in four shoots, eat lots and do a fair bit of exploring. It was super fun :D

Saxon has grown into quite the handsome man :) Yes, 8 GSDs - belonging to Ish and her sister. No :laugh: There were four adults, 2 9 month olds and 2 12 week old puppies.

I photographed 8 of them on Sunday! It was pretty intense when the young ones came out :laugh:

Oh, I love the first b&w of Lotus swimming, but they are all lovely. My 85mm earned his keep on the weekend - four sessions, all done almost exclusively with the 85mm :D

Not blown out on mine :) Light is a bit harsh in 3 and 5, but sometimes that can't be avoided. The first one is slightly greenish to me, in the gap between the edge of his mouth and the bottom of his ear - but that's just nitpicking and not something I would worry too much about. I like the closed eyes one, I have heaps of Sid with closed eyes.

They are gorgeous, Gap :D I'm behind, I have today as the end of Week 41.

Mine have very vocal bouts of bitey face too. Lola is the most annoying, she has this horrible high pitched scream that dives me nuts. Sid is funny, he will go for her tail (probably because he doesn't have one). Bitey face - you're doing it wrong. Now listen here...

If I left click and drag your photo to the URL bar I can save it. Or view the source code to get the direct url of the image. There is no foolproof way to stop people stealing images, unfortunatly. Ok, I know they can still be taken - I should have said disabled right clicking so they can't be saved that way. Just taking steps to make it more difficult. Most people right click. And it kind of proves my point, if people want to take them, they will - watermark or not.

It might interest you to know that some of the most successful photographers don't watermark (possibly because everything is paid for by clients upfront). Jonas Peterson Sue Bryce Dan O'Day Tim Coulson Matt and Katie I could go on... I've been considering dropping it myself (except from client galleries). But I do like how if someone sees an image somewhere, it can always be traced back to me (for eg Pinterest).

I've heard of clients printing watermarked images and framing them :laugh: If they want it, they won't care. As far as I know, I've never had anyone remove a watermark. I tend to put them across faces, so it would be quite difficult and generally, Joe Bloggs won't go to that trouble. For my personal work, I don't care as much. I just think it detracts from how lovely the image is, that's all :) Ok, so I go out, shoot my clients in a session and upload their lovely images into a private gallery on my website. They look through the gallery, pick the ones they want to purchase and let me know. Right? Well, in the past I have had someone take a screen shot of the watermarked images in the gallery and keep them. That's it. No order or income for me. My point is, if people want them, they will grab them - watermark or not. It's a deterrent.

I don't know, I think it might be too busy? Personal preference, that's all. Mine is just my web address, but for client galleries, I make it bigger and whack it right through their faces. I've had images stolen from galleries before (screen shots taken, because I have disabled right clicking) - thus losing income.

I reformat my cards pretty often (definitely before each client session). Deleting off the camera can make them unhappy too. My mac can't see my camera either, but I just open LR and it's all there.
