  2. Yay, I'm back. Loving all the images guys. Will play catch up soon :D
  3. Still here! We have moved and I am without internet. Should connected within the next 24 hrs and I will catch up then :)
  4. She has such an amazing way of finding the most interesting light. I love her :) 9/100
  5. I'm glad you did. When it first popped up on FB, I initially thought it was an image by one of my favourite photographers, Molly Flanagan :) It's good that it makes you think :) It will encourage you to become better, pretty soon you won't even have to think about that stuff - it will just be natural. Also, if you shoot wider open, you can get more of a blur going on in the background (depending on how close it is and how close you are to your subject).
  6. I love this, Ping. So much. The light is gorgeous
  7. It still works, so no great loss really. A bit more character
  8. That first one is cute, tlc :) 8/100 Chewing on a lens cap, I thought it was a peg. The aftermath:
  9. Meat on bone at every meal for my two.
  10. He was sad because I wouldn't give him a Freddo until he ate all of his dinner. D700 and this is with the 50mm :)
  11. 6/100 Our frequent dinner battle. (Shot at ISO 3200 for those interested. I love my camera )
  12. I feel the same. I would go ahead and say I see heaps of fat pugs (and Frenchies), but I don't think I've ever seen an underweight one. Sid and Lola are lean, I prefer them that way. I already have enough trouble with Lola's breathing without adding extra weight to the issue. Sid's breathing is excellent.
  13. Wow!! That's huge!! All the best with it. Thanks, it's been 7 months in the making. Can't wait to be home again.
  14. They just keep growing, tlc! Both leggy giants now, not much left of the tubby babies. They will take after their father that way.
  15. Ok, not amazing for most people, but amazing to me. Sid was an incredibly bouncy, nutso, won't-sit-for-a-second puppy. He wouldn't seek a cuddle and would duck away if you tried to pat him. He has now matured into a gentle soul and has bonded very strongly with my youngest.
  16. Yeah, it's a hot one. Can't complain though, haven't really had super hot days like this for a while. I've just popped him in a cold bath in an attempt to get him to sleep at lunchtime. We'll see how that goes. Send some of your weather up here! I hope it's not this hot when we move.
  17. 4/100 A 40 degree day and he has found the coolest spot (you can see the ancient a/c vent behind him).
  18. More texture. My bath isn't that grotty
  19. It's funny how you can tell. I looked at some of my own stuff on my inlaws laptop and was horrified at how cool and lacking in contrast it was.
  20. Ah ok :) Yes, they are warm. I have a feeling you are editing on a laptop?
  21. Are you talking about that one? It doesn't look over exposed.
