  1. I have two beautiful big girls, Asali is the fawn and Kip is the irish. I lost my male Cruz on 29th March this year But, when he was here I had 3 Boerboels and 1 ACD and after a few teething issues, a very harmonious home..... Boerboels are extremely tolerant of other dogs and generally get on really well with all. Sorry to hear about Cruz. But your girls are stunning, and your older ACD looks very much at home. Does the Frenchie terrorise him as well?
  2. Can you please send me a drooly one? Or if your a bit pressed for time, the Frenchie will do. Gorgeous photos, I too love the 3rd one. :p How many Boerboels do you have?
  3. Darn it, I bought one of the XXL 2 days ago for $59, now they are $39. They also have the agility tunnel on sale today (medium dog size) for $22.95 instead of $69. LINKY
  4. That would be great i live in the Armadale area, any suggestions please. You could put it on Ebay, or one of the free online classifieds like Gumtree?
  5. If she digs through chook wire, then maybe some sheets of concrete mesh laid over the top of the grass will stop her. She couldn't dig through that if she tried. Temporary solution.
  6. Very frustrating for you, and no doubt the dog as well. If you only have two strips of grass left in the yard, can you fence them off (was thinking of ping string type electric portable fence). Easy to do. Cheap enough. The poly tape and the tread ins are very easy to install, and a low voltage energiser. Just a thought. Have you thought about getting that fake grass? Astro turf or whatever it is? Might be a solution. Good luck, I can feel your frustration.
  7. She has only been with her current partner for a year and a half and the last dog she disposed of was prior to him. Thankfully her partner now is an absolute doll and I know he wont let anything happen to the animals and if it was turning badly he would contact me. She got a horse 12 months ago and I have been keeping an eye on this thing like a hawk. Made sure she understood completely that I will report her if care isn't take. Thankfully she has done a great job with the horse and hasn't lost her touch. I'm glad she has you keeping an eye out for the welfare of her animals (just in case). Huntington's must be hard to live with.
  8. I'm glad she didn't fall for it. Can you speak to her partner about what happens to her animals?
  9. Sad for the dogs too I imagine. Perhaps it's better that she doesn't get this so called Yorkie, and loses her money this time.
  10. There will be someone from WA on here who can recommend a qualified behaviorist that deals with aggression. Maybe sell the E collar to get the money?

  12. No they wont fall over. They are fairly sturdy actually. They have a metal pole frame. Thanks for that. These blue ones have the metal pole frame, has anyone got one? http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/pc/Lightwe...Away-p14748.htm That's the exact crate I bought and it is fantastic!! sturdy and great looking. It's huge . Got it for a Rottweiler and she has plenty of room in there and then some Actually mine is the next size up from the one you posted but the same crate. Thanks, will probably get one then.

  14. Are the soft crates good? What if the dog moves around in them, won't they tip over?
  15. Dogs can get sarcoptic mange from foxes. Be careful. Minty had this from just rolling where foxes had been rolling around in the bush near our place. THey can also carry hydatids, distemper, parvovirus, canine hepatitis & heartworm.
  16. I've been told by my vet that grapes are a no-no for dogs. More toxic to small dogs (as anything else would be) but I would be keeping your dog well away from the vineyard unless you want a very sick dog. Apparently an unknown toxin in the grapes affects their kidneys.
  17. Hi, Can someone recommend a good behaviourist who will come out (5 mins past) Sunbury way please? Minty has a few issues that come/go and this now progressed a step further. Thanks in advance.
  18. Well, good luck in your search for you new family fur kid. Your looking at my favorite breeds, BM's & Dogues. I really hope those people consider a rescue org if they do need to rehome her, well done for passing on the details!!
  19. What a shame Daisy didn't come to you. I guess the partner doesn't want to relinquish her, though that might change when he gets home? Perhaps give her the name of a Rescue Org in case they do ever want to rehome her? I must say, she is :D BM is my next breed of dog. Ah, one day. ;)
  20. Yep, depends on your cover, and what they cover. Have a read of the documents you should have received when your first signed up. ;) I would think you can definitely claim the previous visits.
