  1. Yeah, and I wouldn't have thought the Mum would be letting a total stranger take her pup? Hope the pup is returned, poor little mite
  2. What a transformation! It looks great, bet he is pleased with himself.
  3. I'd say it was more a 10% chance he might have been right for you, in fact it would be pure luck.....might not have even been a dog, there are really so many scammers selling (non existent) dogs (and other pets) online it's awful. Seller sounds like she was only interested in the money anyway. Dodged a bullet there, take your time, you will find the right companion for your family.
  4. Mmm now I better do some homework hey... The seller said she will hold him for me til 4 while I make my decision.. He is actually in Sydney... so I would be buying from only a picture of him on Gumtree. He woud still be a good price with the travel costs to bring him up here. 4 is when then the next person in line will be going to see him. Maybe it is not a good idea to buy like this?? Oh, no no no no no. Gumtree is full of scammers, please don't buy an unseen dog, go through private rehoming or a rescue group and meet the dog. Please save yourself the heartache, would you rehome a dog to someone sight unseen without even talking to them? Nope, so don't buy one like that either. Plenty of good dogs around, take your time, maybe post in the rescue section exactly what you are looking for. :D
  5. To be honest, I'd steer clear of him. Sounds like he hasn't had any training at all, and you'll have your work cut out for you. But if youre up for the challenge, go and meet him. Why do you only have until 4?
  6. I've never thought about putting it in other people's bins, I'd probably just take it home if there was no council bin. I remeber going on midnight ninja stealth missions on bin night to occasionslly put a bag of rubbish in someone elses bin when ours was full, and I still felt guilty. I'm also slack in washing out bins, what do you use for your bins?
  7. Sounds like you'd be better off going to a weekly dog obedience class, has he attended puppy school yet? I'm not a fan of sending dogs away to be trained, you can be be doing sme short lessons with him daily as well as a weekly class. If you name what area you are in, someone should be able to recommend a decent club nearby.
  8. She is being treated medically - so that isn't a worry, we're just wanting the best outcome for her. She's a lovely dog, and at only 14 months, she deserves a better shot a life than she has now. We can't adopt her out as she is on meds, so she is currently rescue only. Thanks for the update, I really hope she will get another chance.
  9. Oh no, that such a sad ending. Sorry for your loss Seren.
  10. Do you have a link to this? All I can find on the news websites is that the homicide squad is investigating the death, no charges have been laid (yet)
  11. You did a great job, and your pooches look suitably impressed!
  12. So sorry Perse. Dougal will be giving some bunnies a run for their money at the bridge.
  13. Saw this on a friends FB newsfeed, so thought I'd share it. 21. It would depend on how much work the pets are I think. I used to get $100 a week looking after a friends big dog in my home.
