  1. It might be best to look on the BOM or another weather site to check for snow Deb. I had a quick look at this site, it doesn't say any snow, maybe the temps are too warm. http://www.yr.no/place/Australia/Victoria/Mount_Margaret~2158758/
  2. That's good to hear, I can imagine how excited the new prospective owners would be now she has had them. :D
  3. Awww, beautiful puppies. Love the pink noses and paws when they are brand new. Are there people on a waiting list type of thing for her puppies? I would think half of Dol wants one now.
  4. Yay!! Happy Birthday Mac, enjoy your blue cheese!
  5. Aww, look at that face. Happy Gotcha Day Stan
  6. Isn't it just the best way to spend a morning WM?
  7. I'm sorry to hear his end wasn't a good one Ruffles, that's always been my fear as well
  8. Very cute Perse. Love the old girl and her jumper
  9. A blue cheese misadventure, uh oh. Good to read that the new med is agreeing with him so far, each day is a blessing I reckon.
  10. Aww, I do hope the new meds will help him WM.
  11. I'm so sorry Ruffles, run free at the bridge Loki
  12. Dear old soul, every day is a bonus isn't it. :)
  13. Zeddy lived to a pretty good age, it's just a pity they can't stay with us forever. Run free at the bridge old girl
  14. Thanks for keeping us updated WM, if the treatment doesn't agree with him, then quality of life over quantity would always be my choice too.
  15. How scary for you both WM, how is Mac doing this morning? Fingers and paws crossed here for him.
  16. One of mine does it, it's disgusting and gag worthy. She only used to eat the other dogs poop (and any other animal poop around) but lately she's started going after her own. She's sneaky though, my old dog usually poops at night, and that's when she will grab it before I see it to pick it up. She burps in my face too, I swear I nearly puke when I smell it. Poo breath. She is disgusting, what a gross habit, ewww
  17. Mine are twice a day, due to the fact that they are always starving. Dry food, plus some yoghurt/egg/vegies/tuna for the old boy, and the same plus RMB's for the other. I feed the last meal around 4pm, purely for poop convenience.
  18. Thought I'd update on this. Both dogs refuse to use the portable dog loo. Typical. The old boy just wees mainly in one spot on the pavers (against a big pot plant) and the girl will (mainly) wee on the fake turf that I grabbed off the portable dog loo and placed on the pavers. I'm just using a bucket of water and pouring that over each wee to dilute it (it's on a bit of a slope and goes into a drain), and twice a week I give the pavers a hot wash (with vinegar) and scrub with the broom, and then rinse off. So far, no smells ( I wash the fake grass 3 times a week and leave it to dry, but I do need another piece now) Poop is easy, gets picked up straight away, double bagged and binned. Hot weather might be different, but for now, this works.
  19. I'd wait. But I'm cautious anyway. You don't know (not that anything is ever set in stone anyway) how the pregnancy will affect you, if you have a needy/sick baby to contend with etc etc. Or you might have an absolutely easy peasy pregnancy/birth/baby. Will there be another littler further down the track?
  20. Run free Champa, hugs to you and the kids Kirty, wasn't he a beautiful looking boy.
  21. He's a clever boy, comfort all the way Mac
  22. Thanks for the update WM, glad to hear Mac is doing okay, and winter woollies are worth their weight in gold!
