  1. So lovely to see them at the milkbar, jostling for position. And their little whimpers.
  2. They don't call them bitches for nothing. :D No way would I have two bitches together, it's a recipe for potential disaster. Desex the older girl too, otherwise she will have every male coming around to get to her, and being a mixed breed already, you will end up with a litter of who knows what. Definitely go with a Male puppy, and if you're' getting an Amstaff, make sure its from a registered breeder and comes with papers, with BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) you can't be too careful with bull breeds. It's their word against yours if you have no papers unfortunately. I haven't found any dominance issues with male dogs, but I sure have with my female.
  3. You guys did a great job, Seven is gorgeous and talented. :D
  4. Thanks for taking the time to update here, such a beautiful litter, 9 little B & T pups and one little Angel too beautiful for this world.
  5. Rottie puppies, how can you not love them. Sending calm birthing vibes to Seven. I'll guess 9 puppies, 7 boys, 2 girls.
  6. Your beautiful mare, I'm so sorry Kirislin. 32 years together is amazing, you'll have so many memories of her to hold on to when it hurts too much.
  7. Really sorry to hear about Anna Gillybob, they sure do leave paw prints on our hearts. Run free at the bridge now
  8. Perth has some beautiful beaches, that's for sure. Your two are having a great time!
  9. Yeah sorry Caz - but thats me - morbid childhood fear of them - can't even watch them on telly!!! (At least I'm honest - but I'm not a redneck!) Nooo, not you WM. I was more referring to the typical redneck types who go round and chop snakes heads off, well...just because they are a snake, doesn't matter if it's a harmless python, they'll kill it.
  10. : Thank you for not being one of those rednecks who think the only good snake is a dead one. Nice RBB, they'd always be my snake of choice if I were to ever own vens, though probably won't be happening, getting less brave in my mature years. I'll stick to my pythons.
  11. Good work, be careful when you relocate it, preferably somewhere close by that is safe for the snake.
  12. Great new pics of your dogs CT, seems like they've been having fun socialising and running around with the other dogs, Perth seems to be very dog friendly.
  13. I'd not be getting a 6 week old puppy, let alone a cross of those two breeds, sorry. I don't know of any good breeder who would let pups go that early, I just don't buy the story the "breeder"....well, let's face it, a back yard breeder at that is telling you. You don't know the history of the parents, their health, temperament, anything. Recipe for disaster. Why do you want a cross bred puppy of those breeds? Border Collies are working dogs, designed to go all day herding, Huskies were bred to pull heavy sleighs long distances....and getting a 6 week old puppy that hasn't learnt bite inhibition....argh, I won't go on. Just reconsider why you even want to get one of these puppies? Plenty of healthy puppies in rescue in case you change your mind. (sorry if I sound harsh, but it's a recipe for disaster)
  14. Stunning pics as usual, makes me want to jump in there with them.
  15. Oh, she's just gorgeous! She really does look like she's smiling in that photo
  16. Aww, little red man is turning 17, that's great! I do love the oldies.
  17. Beaut pics CT, what a gorgeous beach, and the dogs look like they are having the time of their lives, hows the heat this time of the year?
  18. Yes, this is the organisation I'd recommend as well, you don't need a puppy, an older dog can be trained as well, good luck with it. :)
  19. Run free at the bridge with Toby Renae. It's so hard when they leave us Jules, big hugs for you
  20. Squeee, puppies These two photos are beautiful Kirislin
  21. hehehe. come try to get into my place without the world being alerted (no instructing needed).....;) Bitches are about 14kg, boys hit 18kg at maturity and if they jump on you, it's enough to knock you flying. Ah, the voice of experience, I was hoping you'd jump into the thread Angelsun. :)
  22. Breeders probably have hundreds of emails to sort through, so you need to be just a little more patient. Some people have to wait for many months, even years to get the dog they want, and there can be waiting lists for your particular breed. The "place" selling them, are they a puppy farm or a registered breeder? Depending on which state they are in, yes, you can voice your concerns to the relevant authority/agency, like the ANK or Dogs Victoria for example. Also a good idea is to find out where/when there will be a show that has the breed you want, and hopefully meet some of the dogs in person, talk to the breeders/owners about wanting one. Here's a list of shows on this year, hope it helps (for Vic shows) CLICK HERE GP's are in Group 6, Utility Dog :)
  23. They are quite lively dogs, but I'm sure someone with the breed might be able to advise you, here's a Road Test of GP's to give you a little idea anyway....(not a fan of Burkes Backyard, just wanted to show you the dogs ) A list of older German Pinschers available at the moment Are Here And there are Puppies available In Here And GP Breeders are listed Here I think Angelsun (a member on here) is a breeder of German Pinschers, she might be able to advise you on their suitability too.
  24. Oh Lhok, those two are gorgeous, love their descriptions too, they'd be my kind of dogs. Really hope they find a great home to live out their retirement years.
