My heart goes out to you what a beautiful looking dog Roxy is, I lost my Shepherd Nicky to the same thing at 5yrs old, I still cry for him 15 yrs later, since then I've had my Shepherd Blackie from 6yrs till he was 11yrs old and now my rescue Lab boy Whisky who is 6yrs old came to us at 8months from Sydney Dogs Home, they are all so very precious and each one a total individual, maybe in time you can rescue another dog, it will never replace Roxy but will help with the healing process, I did this to give meaning to my dogs passing to the Bridge, I know they would have wanted me to help another abandoned soul. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time, think of all those wonderful wonderful times you've had with Roxy and how she is now free from pain, her gift to you are those wonderful memories.

How worrying for you, poor Connor, do you think he could have a tick on him as that causes paralysis sometimes, get the vet to check him for ticks as someone said at our dogs park its a very bad season for them this year, hugs to Connor and hope everything goes well at the vets today.

I haven't stopped crying since reading your post Openarms, I've been thru it 3 times with my furbabies now and it never gets any easier, they are only given to us for a very short time and it is our duty to make their life happy in that short time and you definitely made Daisy's life happy and I think when she was rehomed it was meant to be that it didn't work out and she was back in your arms until God called her home, she looked a gorgeous dog and you will be able to remember her with love and laughter in time, at all the funny little things she did, have fun at Miss Daisy, Take care Openarms

So terribly sorry that Archie and Dally are off to tomorrow Rajacadoo, it will be a very sad day for you all, but you have given your furkids a wonderful life and they have returned that love a thousandfold, you are sending them on their way not as homeless dogs abandoned in some strange shelter but as well loved pets, run free like young puppies you two, and try to keep out of mischief.

What a beautiful photo of Andy, Bonza, he was a stunning dog and it's easy to see how much he was loved. I can understand where you're coming from with regard to the car, my Lab is also well trained to sit at the kerb but the other day he just stepped out onto the road without a thought, fortunately no cars but it only takes a second, and dogs will be dogs. Mrs. B will feel terrible that she didn't get chance to say goodbye, I know how that feels my 5yr old Shepherd was put to sleep with cancer while I was a work and I never got to kiss him goodbye, beat myself up about it for a long time, and there's always lots of "if only's", but sadly we have to accept fate, I can see Andy will be setting hearts on fire with all the ladies at the bridge, hugs to you both for your sad loss.

I'm absolutely devastated by your loss I can't stop the tears flowing, 4 beautiful dogs in such a short time, the only compensation if there is any to be had is that none of them will be lonely at the bridge now, they will all be so happy to be together again watching over mum, you didn't do anything wrong imashephead in fact you gave them all so much love that you did everything right. If I can be of any help in any way at all please let me know. Run free like the wind Bayliss, Zac, Suzi and Saki Our hearts are with you
