  1. I would recommend you go and discuss this with your vet. Our 15 year old golden retriever was displaying significant signs of senility in the last year of his life. Jasper was very restless, would want to go outside and just stand there looking confused. He's wander in the yard at night, an we'd have to send one of the other dogs our to lead him back in (we live in the country and have a two acre house yard so it was more complicated than it sounds). Our vet put us on to a dry dog food for old dogs which contained a supplement and it worked really well with Jasper. He was more focused, didn't seem to find himself at the door wondering why he was there etc. It was Hills Science BF, I think.
  2. Our lab pup started eating poo - we have four dogs at home, so while we do a daily clean up of the yard, there's usually a bit about by afternoon. Our vet suggested adding pineapple to the dogs dinner as it apparently made the poo less appealing - and it's worked! (It didnt give them the runs - but we were judicious with the amount)
