If I change breeds or branch into a different breed I'm likely to change my prefix. My prefix came from a name someone called me on DOL chat a long time ago.

Do it RS!! Just look at all the cute-ness in the sig! On a serious note though, Blaze rarely barks. Minka alert barks at strange people in her house, Portia has caught onto this. Coco barks if you don't give her enough attention after coming through the door and Tyson doesn't bark terribly much other than in play. Though at his last show he wanted to bark at anything and everything whereas at previous shows he's been quiet as a mouse.

Are you kidding? I've yet to meet one that isn't!!! The ones I know are all dogs sports dogs too. Blaze must have missed the memo! He's extremely quiet. All others I've known though are prone to making a bit of noise. Love the Minnie Mouse Stafford!!

When I went to Portia's breeder to have her mated, she had a pup with ears that curled back, at around 4 weeks old. She wasn't concerned about it and believed they would come right. I've never asked about the outcome though.

Because I had an interest in breeding and if I didn't find DOL I may very well have ended up being a BYB. Glad I waited and did it properly.

Don't train for too long at a time is my best advice. That way they won't get too bored of it. Short spurts a couple of times a day, of a few minutes at a time.

Someone in my area has a Borzoi (never seen it at a show so presumably a pet home), have seen them walking a few times. Not very common in Darwin!

How much is an average show catalogue? From reading some of the posts I have a feeling it may priced differently in southern states than they are here. I buy a catalogue at every show.

Blaze won another Neuter in Group tonight. He now needs only one more neuter challenge certificate to gain his Neuter Champion title. His next show will be the Darwin Royal next month.

It's my Portia's birthday today!! Blaze is November, Minka is January 15th and Tyson and Coco are January 28th.

8, one from TAS/VIC/SA/WA/QLD/NSW/ACT & a Polo to NT (maybe a jacket still deciding). They will all be put into "State" groups and then a "Walking Coat Hanger" will be drawn from each group, that way it is all spread out and fair. :D It's cold enough at the moment here for a jacket!
