  1. Thanks I am going to see Steve later in the year Do you use the regular Rescue Remedy? I might investigate the Nerve Tonic. I have seen some other Vit b products for pets to ease their nerves. I'm dropping into the vets tomorrow so I might talk to her about what to use. I am haven't heard back from a local obedience school yet-where I would like to take my AMstaff but might have to look into places I could take Coco to get her used to other dogs. I brought this one off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...IT&ih=007.I normally give this one on the morning that we go to training and when we get there, also during class if needed and also have this formula that you give each night ,it's the courage formula http://www.floweressences.com.au/dog.htm#courage I give my girl 1/2 teaspoon of brewers yeast each night with her tea Which club are you looking at?
  2. thanks heaps Caroline.this weekend is off with the long weekend anyway
  3. I have a fear aggressive GSD and live in Wollongong as well. I have used Steve from K9 Force as well and made a fair bit of progress so would highly recommend him if you can make it .I just recently started taking her to obedience at Dapto as well.We also use some rescue remedy formula before hand and just received a product from Greenpet called Nerve Tonic The 1st time we went to training at Dapto she was shaking like a leaf but has improved over the last 2 weeks. I don't think she'll ever be a super friendly dog but i'd just be happy to walk past another dog and not have her react whcih does happen sometimes so there is hope

  11. Hi, i am interested in purchasing the above titled book but have to get it from overseas so wondering if anyone has a copy and if it's worth buying i have a fear aggressive dog who has made a lot of progress but still working on it and just interested in having a read of this one, plus once i have finished putting my dogs through the local obedience training I'll be starting to learn to become a trainer there so always looking at getting a bit more knowledge on it
  12. Yes, from someones burnt copy lol! I won't tell anyone if they happen to find one for me LOL
  13. Is there anywhere in Aust you can get these?
  14. yep.mine too, they go wild for the tuna,100% natural,no additives Also dried roo hearts they quite like as well
  15. thanks for the replies. She was going really well,we'd only been training for about 5 mins (not just recalls) after a quick 20min walk when she did the diversion to the door.I didn't pick up on it coming and she's never done it before
  16. Do you treat her for getting it right? My Border Collie will do anything for a treat, if not he looses interest. Yep,sure do.She loves her food and will normally do anything for them
  17. My shepherd is usually very good with obedience(just basic stuff)but i had trained her when doing a recall to come on my right and than around to the left to sit.Have started taking her to the local obedience club and am now trying to get her to recall to the front first. This morning out the front(we front onto a reserve)I was drilling it about 7 times for training tomorrow when she decieded she'd had enough and on the recall diverted and went straight to the front door. Just wondered how i should handle this.Should i have brought her back down and continued?I did bring her back inside and put her in her crate. Any thoughts?
  18. i've just purchased a flower remedy formula from here http://www.floweressences.com.au/dog.htm for my girl who gets stressed around other dogs May be worth looking at as well as the other suggetions
  19. Maybe it's the name,I have a Noodle as well(real name Anika, but goes by Noodle)and she loves water as well and would stay in it all day.
  20. I've had no dogs who have brought it refuse it,infact some have reported that when changing over to orijen and mixing with there previous food some have picked out the orijen and left the other. CBL's greyhound actually ate some out of my hand the other day and he's one of the fussiest dogs around
  21. perhaps a flower essence formula may help http://www.floweressences.com.au/dog.htm I've just purchased the courage formula for my girl
  22. see you saturday than cwn lucy's run, will you make it? I started taking my other girl last week, thought i would be in the class with you guys but they put us straight up to level 1.They Didn't want too many dogs in my girls face as she a bit fear aggressive but she did unbelievably well. Was going to take it in turns taking one dog each week but i'm so happy with her progress last week i'll bring her again for few weeks as Kali's in level 3 now so may just work our way through there with anika so they will be in the same level. Saves me having to use my brain and make sure i'm in the right class with the right dog each week
  23. thankyou for that information,i did actually go and have a look at this product this morning but it's $30 so have gone with this product and will see how it goes first http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...N:IT&ih=007
  24. Thanks for the suggestions.I have had her to a behavourlist and done a lot of work with her and she's improved so much.I just noticed yesterday taking her to obedience training for the 1st time since all our work she was quite nervous and actually shaking so just hoping to find something to calm her. I must say i was really amazed at her progress and at one stage we were actually only abot 40cm from a little poodle and she didn't react so i was pretty happy with her progress. She did tend to be a little focused on other dogs during training but she's come a hell of a way. I have also found a product called de-stress for pets which contains rescue remedy as well as some other ingredients to help calm a dog,i may give it a go
  25. have just come across these products as well, anyone had any experience with on any of them? http://www.petsonthepark.com.au/category80_1.htm
