Hi there rovaround, next time you get your new Oster blades sharpened that don't fit your Wahl KM2 properly, get the sharpener to shape the SOCKET to the standard shape on each blade, so it/they will fit a Wahl KM2 clipper as well, the socket is the thing that fits to the hinge on the clipper, see pix below.nicestman77. or better still send them to Colin to sharpen,he's super fast with turn around and great to deal with and know's his stuff as you can see from his replies

Does Twisted Stomach = Gastric Torsion ?
4 Paws replied to Purple Julie's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I had my first Shepherd years ago get into the kids leftovers which included cooked broccoli and ended up with bloat.Vet was able to save her but he told me the broccoli had fermented and given off a gas which caused it so please be careful about things like that -

Oldfield, Double K Or Liberty Dryer For Samoyed?
4 Paws replied to sambea's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I have a Double K and it works great on my shepherds.Have also used it on several samoyeds and it was like white fairy floss everwhere -
Heard from AgilityClick and they contacted the makers and have been told the advanced one is stronger so i'm going to order it plus they are giving me free freight which is great PR From them i think my girl was getting it too far down in her mouth, basically eating the tug so that may have been the cause. May look at making something similar with shadecloth

Hi huski We have Labraodrs so it goes without saying that they are also highly food driven . However what I really liked about this liver cake was that it was dry in your pocket. It wasnt greasy/oily nor did it crumble - one could say just perfect. Once I have had a couple of goes at the recipe posted by 4 paws I will post my results and let you know how successful it was. Looking forward to your reply mercedes. We've moved to a smaller house and my blender and cyclonic wizz are packed somewhere in the garage.Might have to pull everything out and find it as I'd love to try to make it.Maybe it might be easier to just buy a new blender

ETA-Is it this part?? We did not know that irradiation was done at such high levels. Our investigation in this area is ongoing. We would not have allowed our foods to be put through this process if we were aware of this. Please keep in mind that it took several weeks to determine that ORIJEN was indeed the issue. Once we received irradiated product, and smelled the product, we pulled off shelves immediately. Being that this was isolated to Australia, it was difficult to uncover. We have tested for numerous items before irradiation-see updated info for tests. A comment was made that dog food is still on shelves-thank you for that, we will actively be working with retailers to pull this A Champion rep will be visiting Australia- his primary focus to get 100% of dog and cat food OFF shelves. If yes.the dog food is being pulled from the shelves but not recalled

I have fed the Orijen to my dogs since it very 1st came to Australia back around Feb so I'm probably one of the longest users in Aust ,infact I brought a bag before I started selling it as I like to try all products before I sell them so if any ones dogs would be affected it would be mine and they're all running round with shiny coats and looking very healthy ;)

Just rang the Importer and can confirm there is NO RECALL on the dog food, really wish people would get there facts right before saying things(don't mean you neorotic, your delivery guy)
-
where did you hear that at? I used to sell it and have not been informed about the dog food at all!

Anyone that can't quite get to $100 let me know as I'm sure there's something on there i need

Kibble Thread - What Do You Feed, What Result/s?
4 Paws replied to poochmad's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Both GSD's came to me on a BARF diet. Ist dog was always hard to keep weight on with BARF,ended up going onto a bag of Science Diet which I couldn't see any difference so went back to BARF. 2ND dog came along and we continued to feed BARF lathough 1st dog was always itchy for some reason. Did try a few bags of Nutrience which was OK till we were put onto Nutro Lamb and Rice.Dog did rally well on it and dog no 1 stopped being itchy and her body smell dissapeared. Once Nutro stopped in Aust we moved onto Orijen.Dogs did extremly well on it. We are in the transistion to Artemis at the moment and all going well so far. All kibble was fed with some bones of some kind, sardines, mince etc as well -

Found this receipe LIVER CAKE RECIPE. Those of you who show dogs may well have used Liver cake to bait your dogs in the ring but for those of you who may not have heard of it below we have printed the recipe for this cake as it seems to have the effect of holding your dogs attention whilst in the ring and has the added advantage of not making one's hands sticky. 8ozs Liver [preferably Lambs] 4ozs S/R Flour 2 Eggs 2 Cloves Garlic/ or 2 tsps garlic puree. Put all the ingredients into a blender until the mixture is smooth, pink and runny [not too rigid a requirement if you prefer to make it a bit chunky' Pour into greased swiss roll type baking tin and place in the oven [Gas Mark 4] for around 30-40 minutes. Leave to cool and cut into bite size pieces. It can be frozen into individual bags [enough for a show] and makes enough for 4/5 shows.

Used to live there but moved from Dubbo about 18months ago and I'm pretty sure there's still no training club there, will double check when I speak to my parents later There is a couple of people who do run training classes but I'm sure they're only like 6 week courses and fairly pricey. One is Delta trained, the other guy is old school methods. I know the Kennel club were trying to start a training club up but I'm petty sure it never got going. There is a nice off leash dog park there that is fully fenced and they put agility equipment there late last year and have ben told there's now a 2nd dog park in South Dubbo Feel free to PM me if you'd like any more info(vets etc).I can give you the email of the lady that runs the delta classes and she might be able to help you out more about training,I know she does agility training for fun but not sure if'it's to competition level
