Kelpie's Nose Bleeding Again.
Gone Grey replied to David See's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I can't give you specific advice either David. I can really sympathise with you though. My dog was diagnosed with bone cancer. It was very quick and sudden, and by the time it was diagnosed is was all through his system, and we only had 3 days to say goodbye. Sometimes I still think, "What if? What if I took him to the vet earlier? Could we have saved him? Could we have had him with us for longer?" There are hundreds of them. I draw great comfort in knowing that those last 3 days were the best in his doggy life. He had a great life anyway, but those last 3 days we spent 24 hours a day with him, he slept in the bedroom, he got a cooked meal every day, and got as much love as we could possibly give him. Whatever happens (and I truly hope he has a lot more time with you yet!) these are the last memories you'll ever have of your faithful friend. Make sure they're good ones. I feel for you too Julie, will be thinking of you both and sending lots of healing vibes. -
What a lovely dog, so sorry Fifi.

That's truly awful. So sorry for your loss. Run free Toa and Dino.

Oh no, how scary! So glad to hear she's all right though. Would have no idea what to do either. Nearly 2kgs of cat food!

Wow, would love the contact details for the place with the cheap Eagle Pack! Have found it difficult to find suppliers of EP and Royal Canin, and when I do it's really expensive. Will be in touch, Sue or Mel!

I have my two on Natural Balance. It's all natural, made in WA and they're doing great on it. (You'll see for yourself soon! ) It's fairly expensive, about the same as other premium breeds, around $80 for 15kgs, but as they're trying to get off the ground maybe they wouldn't mind giving you a bulk discount, maybe for some free advertising? Worth a try! Let me know what you find out about Royal Canin, have been considering trying that too! Natural Balance website

Wow what a beautiful photo. I think I can see a double rainbow there! Beautiful memories, and a beautiful dog. Best of luck with the soon-to-be new addition. Will never replace Cadence, but here's to many more beautiful experiences and memories.

Oh, I'm so sorry for your pain, what a horrible thing to happen. Have to say if I was the dog's owner I would be so grateful that you were there to try and help, and be with my precious pet in their final minutes, and not let them die by themselves at the side of the road. It wasn't your fault they were out in the first place, you were just trying to help. It may have happened even if you weren't there at all and the dog would have died alone and in pain. :D

:D Thinking of you, run free Billy.

It actually sometimes shocks me when my greyhounds bark, they bark so rarely! And they're so damn sweet and lazy, even though my girl has had a hard life. There are heaps of darlings just begging for homes! My two cents - can't help myself!

We buy Natural Balance from a local pet food supplier. It's made in WA so it makes it easier! We did a lot of research, trying to find a dry dog food without by products or additives, for a reasonable price. And this was what we came up with in the end! The texture seems crunchier than most, but our dogs love it and are thriving on it. Here is the web site: Natural Balance

Oh no, I'm so shocked, I had no idea! Pirate was sooo gorgeous, was really looking forward to seeing him grow up in your care. I'm so sorry, my deepest condolences.
