Try having a look at K9 Force's NILIF and Triangle of Temptation tecniques. They both work wonderfully.

Welcome to DOL Charlie is gorgeous !!!! I followed the exact same instructions as shoemonster has told you and it works really well (and quickly). Try to use the same method with anything your baby is doing 'wrong'. Just remember to use lots of praise for doing the right thing and ignoring the bad. They want to please you and will soon learn that doing the right thing is much more rewarding. Good luck and can't wait to see some more pics of Charlie.

Ohhhhhh yeh I have the exact same thing at my place. I ignore them and then the play fighting and zoomies start. It also takes my 2 at least 30 mins to calm down. By then Belle is bloody exhausted and really isn't interested in a pat until at least an hours sleep. :D Do I have a solution? No not at all, other than to grab a drink, sit on the kitchen bench (so you don't get knocked over by them), watch them and laugh. It's a great unwinder !!! ;)

Nooooooooo Chopper has been permanently banned for socials. Belle will be at the next one with bells on !!!! (Actually I might just add some to one of her coats.... :rolleyes: ) She loves her hugs and will definitely be coming to you for more next time too....

Chopper = Grumpy head he's staying at home Belle = Aggressive... well she's very, very aggressive with her licking !!!! :rolleyes:

Ummmm Please don't think I'm being critical of anyone here but if a 100% recall is required then I'm sorry i can't go. Belle is going well but she is only a puppy and hasn't got a fantastic recall. Sorry to anyone that she may have run up to and upset last time. Myszka I took Belle down there and was confident with her around the other dogs because I knew they were all dog friendly. I wouldn't put her in that situation if there not.

Thanks again everyone for a great time yesterday...... Belle was absolutely stuffed and sleeped all afternoon. She had such a good time meeting all of the dogs and sitting on ever humans lap!!!! RedX3 my friend had her Cav there and he was the same... nervous around the other dogs but dying to play. He'll get better over time I'm sure. Jddd and Flames Daddy - Hopefully next time Belle can meet Flame and I can get my quota of cuddles from her too. Alibear - As always, great to see you and catch up. I will be there at 11am... because I can imagine how tired Belle will be after burning around for 1/2hr, let alone if I got there an hour before everyone else. She'd just be a sleeping bundle and no fun to anyone.....

Well after 2 successful Sydney DOL meets a suggestion was made by hlk70g to make it a more permanent meet. Gread idea hey ! Great socialisation for dogs and humans !!!!!! Sooooo how about the 1st weekend of each month at: Connie Lowe Reserve Adelphi St (Off Windsor Rd) Rouse Hill Absolutely everyone is welcome (except for my dog !!! ) Hope to see lots of you there........ I too had a great day and yet again learnt HEAPS. It was great to see everyone again and also to meet some new people. Steve, thanks again for my lead... I'm over the moon. I tried some prey work with Chop when I got home and he 'believe it or not' went kinda nuts. He loved it. Please count him in as a demonstrator for the next workshop. He's dying to meet everyone.
