Clover - I'll help you out if I can. Clover isn't crazy, she's just a sweet, smoochie, cute puppy dog. Tell her I'll have cheese and carob drops. shoemonster - It starts at 9am I think and will probably go until 3 0r 4pm. I hope you can make it.

We've got flyball on again this Sunday at Berwick. I was just wondering who else was going to be there and also if anyone wanted to drop in for a visit. It's on at the Berwick Highland Gathering held at Berwick Showground. Weiners - I try to get some more photos.

Hey you shameless bragger, Flea looks like a different dog. She's a beautiful girl and you've done a great job with her so far. That's the first time I've seen her focus on someone.

I don't know if it's the right thing to do or not but I've always tried to distract Todd when he seems scared of something. Luckily for me (sometimes) he's an absolute pig so I bring out the food and run through a few obedience commands. Tollers can be sensitive to lots of things too.

Except I think Erny has a spacebar. -
Hey CTD Tia is looking fantastic in the videos and I'm picking up heaps of training tips. I haven't had a lot of training experience so it's great seeing things being done from scratch. She's a real cutie.

;) ;) The pool one is funny. Is that a bit of their old green one on the ground. Kaos lives up to his name at least. Glad you're ok. My eldest nearly got a black eye the other day playing with Todd and he wacked me in the chin at our last flyball comp but luckily for me (this time) my teeth weren't on my tongue. I tried to load a video on utube a couple of weeks ago but I couldnt get it working. I'll have to try again.

Yep Jedda sure is amazing little girl. Harri (We thought Harri with an i would be interesting lol) is settling in well, he slept strait through last night in his crate no whinging etc.. and let me know he needed a wee at 5.30am then came back in and went back to bed. Sorry Harri I won't spell your name wrong again. That's a great start, keep it up Harri. CTD - Unfortunately I won't be at Pet Expo. I'll have to wait until your'e racing again.

BG - It would be worth sending an email to K9 just to ask if he's going to be anywhere near you at some time. He recently visited western Vic and I know he's been to a couple of other rural areas. I hope you can get some help soon. Let us know how you go. -
My god!! What happened to your clam shell? Don't you feed your dogs? What's that ball Atlas has? And seriously, are you OK after Kaos's head butt.

We'll be there. Yeh Clover that 4.30 start sucks. I'm looking forward to your comp, just 10 mins drive from home. My OH is going to come down sometime during the day and he's bringing Lilli with him. Shoemonster - That would be great if you could come along. I bet young Eddie would get pretty excited over the whole thing. Hey ReXy it's Todd's birthday tomorrow too. Give your little girl some licks from him. Tollersowned - Bring your foster pups to the gardens tomorrow but just not from 11.30 -12.00. There'd be quite a few dogs they could socialise with.

Todd had a go at a straight lure (JR people) and he didn't chase the lure but was looking for the bag on the moving wire like they have at KCC park. That was at lunch break at a flyball comp and all afternoon he kept looking over at the lure instead of focusing on the ball. Josh and Moses look great. How long is the run?

He's not sore somewhere is he?

No it hasn't changed. It's on Sundays at 10.00. I'll probably see you there. I'm over at the flyball after classes so come and say hi if I don't catch up with you. :D Happy New Year Pippi. See you at the club.

Thanks for that info. The vet said if it's stones they send them to Hills in the States and they test them. Apparently Hills do it for free. I assume we'll talk about diet etc after we get the results. He also said he'd have a look around to see if Tollers are prone to them. I've had a bit of a snoop and can't see anything that stands out. I hate not knowing for sure what's going on in there. I've had Lilli for about 18mths now (she's 6 1/2) and she's had suspected discospondylitis, upper and lower back problems and sometimes somethings not quite right. She eats like a pig and plays enthusiatically (bit too enthusiastically hence the back we think), she's had blood screens and urine has been tested before but nothing ever shows up. I hope this procedure will give me some answers at least.

I took one of my dogs to the vet today because she's been leaking a bit of urine. I followed her around for about 15 minutes with a frying pan to get a urine sample. Gee did I get some looks. Urine sample was a bit diluted but otherwise fine. He wanted to check out a couple of things before coming to any conclusions. He gave her a probe around the abdomen and suspects she has bladder stones. Hopefully it's not a tumour. She'll be having surgery when I can organise the funds sometime in the next couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and could tell me about the surgery and if more stones developed later. Thanks

My 2 are only allowed to play with them with me because otherwise they sit there and chew on them. They both have worn down teeth. shoemonster - let me know how the orbee copes with your 2.

The ones we use for flyball are better quality than the ones you get at the supermarket. I know of someone who approached their local tennis club and asked for their old balls because they survived her dogs attention a little better than the cheap ones. I should be out and about later in the week so I'll have a look around for one of those solid ones for you (only for play, no good for flyball I don't think, too bouncy). The one I had a Kepala is still going strong. Have you started flyball training yet?

She has a beautiful little face. So sorry

Hi Lois, Look forward to meeting you. There's quite a few DOLers in this area. Best of luck with your move.

When I got my 9 week old Toller I was amazed how he sucked down his chicken necks. It looked as though he inhaled them. He's been doing that with his food for 5 years now and he's fine. I call it a healthy appetite.
