  1. Could you pass the info on to me if it does work. I love that look but I can't see anything about burnt effect. I love all of this stuff you're doing.
  2. Thanks heaps I'll give it a go a bit later. Kitty looks great.
  3. You guys are all doing fantastic stuff. I love it. Harminee can you tell me how to go about doing the black and white ones on Corel x1. BTW thanks for the link to the Bursitis thingo. Vicki beside the fact that your photos are good you're creative in the way you present them.
  4. Oh no. I'm going to have to spend some more time learning how to do that colour/black and white stuff now. It looks great. I'm still practising oobs. I still don't quite understand the layers but I'm getting there slowly. That Boxer looks great Vickie. Here's a couple. Unfortunately my photos are crap.
  5. Did I get a photo of your butt? :D :D We've started talking about Canberra. It's only 7 months away. I'll see if I've got any more pics for you.
  6. I've finally sorted out a few photos from the weekend and I'll put them up in the photo section. They're not the best quality. I was disappointed with the number of runs we had. We had a six dog team so after it was shared around the dogs were just warming up. I had a great time overall though. The organisers went out of their way to give everyone a good time. Providing meals on Friday and Saturday night with entertainment was a real bonus and very much appreciated, even though most of us were too buggered to take full advantage of it and party on. The camping grounds were comfy and the loos and showers coped which is always a bit of a worry. I wish I could have met a few more people but it just didn't seem to come about. There's always Canberra. CTD - I took a couple of pics of Tia's relatives for you. Thanks to all of the QLDers for a great weekend.
  7. I'll check these out too. If they're ridgy didge my dogs would be in heaven. Both of mine have worn down teeth. Lilli, who I got when she was 5yo, had very worn down teeth when she arrived here. The vet said hers wasn't necessarily just from tennis ball because she's managed to wear down her molars too. That would indicate she had bee chewing on other things. Todd on the other hand has a "typical" tennis ball mouth. The wear is at the front and he's had it from the age of 18 mths - 2 years. As soon as we realised what was happening we removed all tennis balls from the yard and they only get to play with them under supervision. I was talking to my vet today and he said that tennis balls are now made from fibreglass instead of cotton and that's what is causing the problems. Anyone else heard this theory. The others I've heard are: the glue they use now; and sand mixed with saliva on the ball is like chewing sandpaper.
  8. I'll be camping. A couple of us have hired a caravan. We're the Victorians in navy blue and white and I'll have a Toller. Are you in a tent or caravan and what day will you be getting there. I'll be there on Thursday arvo.
  9. All of my young dogs have had the odd cough and gag but it's usually from chewing on something.
  10. From a complete amateur I thought that looked fantastic. You both seem to be working really well together. When I see these clips I start thinking that I should make an effort to learn. Congradulations
  11. That's great ness. Good luck for tomorrow.
  12. Are you going to the nationals Mrsdog? periau I can't see it on the site either. Used to be there. ;)
  13. Not really embarrasing or funny but me messing up. This is how Todd does his sit and drop stays. Sparty photopraphed them so I could have lasting memories. :D She's so kind. Heels beautifully paying me full attention. Stand for exam and stand stay were perfect. Sit and drop stays end like this. Look mum I can sit/drop stay but I have to be really close to you.
  14. LilBailey and Clover how come your ticker countdown is different? Sounds like there's heaps of us camping at the grounds. :D
  15. Todd and I are going. Yipee. ;) I'm really looking forward to it, should be fun.
  16. Todd and I had a great time too but we're both pretty tired now. It was nice to be on 10 mins from home compared to the usual 2 - 3 hour drive. I've got a few photos to post and I'll do them over the next couple of days. I didn't get any of the human race because my camera was full. Here's one of LilBailey and Clover, who belong to the club hosting the weekend, enjoying the beautiful Ballarat weather. Hot one day, freeze your tits off the next.
  17. Great. Josh can save us some water by giving me a bath again. ;)
  18. It's usually on the AFA website if you're ever unsure. It's on at Power Reserve, Grant St, Sebastopol. It's not far from the Ballarat grounds and is easy to find. Add Are you camping and do you know if Joy and Finlay will be there?
  19. This coming weekend is the Weiner's first flyball comp. It's being held over 2 days and there's camping available at the grounds. Just wondering which DOLers are competing and if any other locals would like to drop in to say hi and support the Weiners. The Weiners have a few Dolers including Clover, Sparty and LilBailey. I'm with the Ballarat club so I'm one of their rivals.
  20. The last time I saw Moses he was pretty thin and if he's still losing weight I'd be concerned. I can't remember who Moses's dad is but one of David's dogs, Kitch, had a thyroid problem. It didn't show up until he was about 10. He lost most of his coat. Good Luck
  21. CTD's boy Josh gave me a bath on Sunday.
