Oh Julie & Michael... we are so incredibly sorry for your loss Can't imagine how you're feeling at the moment. Lloydy is going to be so sadly missed.....his heart touched everyone who met him and it so unfair that this has happened to such a beautiful soul. You were all so very lucky to have been chosen to have shared each others lives. All our thoughts and prayers go to you and to the other dogs Pepper, Nikita, Carly, Elle and Bear who must be so confused and wondering where their best friend has gone.... We feed ours proplan and i will agree with everyone else here.......its cheaper than the cheap stuff as you dont need to feed them as much........i converted my mother in law over to proplan for her little guy.....hes a lhaso x maltese and i worked it out that he needed to eat 1 cup a day and she bought the 9kg bag for around $56 and it worked out to costing her 0.62cents a day to feed him........you couldnt feed him the cheap crap for that...... I am feeding 2 saints on proplan and i worked that out to be costing me $38.00 a week.......for the amount of cheap stuff i would have to feed them to satisfy them it would cost me about $70.00 a week.......its a big difference..... We feed our saint on proplan, yes it costs $105 a bag but you get 22.5 kgs and she only needs 3 cups a day......which is about 280g.......so the bag lasts for 80 feeds and works out to cost us $1.30 a day to feed her.......thats less than $10.00 a week Kellie

I feed Belle 3 cups of Pro Plan a day and 2 sheeps hearts and that works out to about $10.00 a week....... (but this whole calculation has gone straight out the window at the moment though as she is pregnant and eating us out of house and home......for example yesterday she managed to polish off 6 cups pro plan, 4 sheeps hearts, 1 meat pie, 5 dog biscuits, my daughters left over beef stew from dinner and the contents of both of the cats bowls.......lol......i think she is eating for 20.....) But normally when she isnt pregnant its about $10 a week... Kellie

OMG... .. i have been getting really ripped off...i normally buy frontline from my local vet for $68.95 and i just went and had a look at priceless pets after reading your posts and i can get it there for $48.95 and thats including the postage from victoria to queensland........ Thanx to you all for youre information.....i wont be going back to the local vet for it anymore Kellie...:rolleyes:)
