  1. Hi, No I haven't spoken to my vet but I think I will. No agression at all. Ever.
  2. HI, I've had him for 2 1/2 years. I don't think I reward his behaviour. I usually try to ignore it and not make a big deal about it but I think he's getting worse and I'd like to know what to do.
  3. Hi, I have a lovely 3 year old rescued staffy. Over time he has developed fear over things that didn't use to scare him before. For example he wasn't afraid of the iron but now we have to put him outside every time we turn it on as he gets REALLY scared. He didn't mind storms either but now I even have to give him valium! The other day the microphone on my computer had some really bad feedback noise problem and my dog got so scared that he never entered the room where the computer is. Today he did something very strange: he came to the room and I was rewarding him for his behaviour by saying good boy and a giving him a good pat on his back. Well, what was my surprise when I realised he had PEED on the carpet! It was not too much but he never does this. Anybody know how to deal with this? ;) Thanks!
  4. Hi, I just read this whole thread, well whether it is the first weekend of the month or not I can make it any Sunday because I live very close. As you all know my dog goes bezerk and he definitely has no recall when he's running 100km BUT he's so lovely and friendly that doesn't matter because it's a fenced area. So if anyone feels like having a DOL meet at Rouse Hill I'm happy to bring my crazy Staffy!
  5. Steve, thanks so much for all your valuable information and Myszka thanks so much for your hospitality. Even though I missed the dog's demo in the beginning I changed my whole attituted towards my dog (not too much soft talking, not giving him too much attention and lots of praise when he followed me). I used all this during our walk and guess what: HE DOESN'T PULL AS BEFORE!!!!! I could not believe it!! He only failed when saw another dog (he went crazy) but instead of getting nervous and begging him to stop I just pulled towards the other direction and carried on like nothing happened. HE STOPPED PULLING!!! Well, maybe it was first time lucky but I'll continue on and will keep you posted with my progress! Cheers.
  6. Help Please! INFO NIGHT Hi, I was supposed to get there by car but I'm gonna have to take the train now from Town Hall. Could anyone please let me know how to get there by train? Please pm or reply here. Sorry I'm not very fammiliar with forums so I din't know where else to go. Thanks! :
  7. I just posted a message to another member: Melbell who posted the same problem recently. I'm copying here my message: I also have a staffy cross (approx 1 year old) -I also feed him with Supercoat -He recently started to reject it in the mornings but ate it in the evening. Maybe something wrong with supercoat? I also saw the same story on another forum member: Chezzyr Anyone has any ideas?
