  7. OMG you guys are fantastic. I cant believe what you can do. Palane would you be able to do that one again but with this pic of Summer in it instead of Chaos. Just seems funny to have a staffy in there lol. Love everything else though. I have put in a couple of motocross pics for anyone who wants totry something other than dogs. Again a huge thank you to Palane, Snap and Freckles you are all amazing. Leanne
  8. I a so amazed and what you guys can do, must add extremely jealous as well I have added some pics to see if you can do anything with these. Eagerly awaiting. Leanne Kinkiwi Frazer Hogg aka Boss Knightsky Madness Within aka Chaos
  9. I would also love a copy of photoshop or a link to download please. Finally got a new computer that is capable of doing thigs on and can't wait to give it a try. Thanks Leanne
  10. I agree with Emmark. Dogs need to eat a bucket load to try to maintain their weight. Coats will look dull and long haired breeds coats seam to go brittle. What ever amount you feed, double comes out the other end. Stick to a quality dry food, in the end it is worth it. You get what you pay for. Leanne PS try soaking it and then you can see what it is really made from.
  11. I am having the same problems with OH's staffy. I just don't let him in the yard with the clothes line now. Safer and cheaper. Leanne
  12. Try having a male basset hound. Their shlongs are longer than their legs, very hard to walk :D :p Leanne
  13. Thoughts and good wishes to Page and her Family. As a mother I can not even begin to think what her family is going through. May Page's time on earth be filled with love, happiness and pain free. Big basset hugs to all. Leanne
  14. I use pro plan at the moment and can not really fault it. Leanne
  15. I don't mind if my dogs bark a bit when playing and they do bark when I am feeding them, last only a minute though. I will not tolerate a dog that barks at night or barks all day. I have a shift worker next to me, so I wait till he is normally awake till playing with my guys. If I did not have then dogs that barked heaps debarked I would of lost my kennel licence and would have to get rid of all but 2 dogs. The dog catcher here loves my dogs and my set up and even gives me a discount on my registrations for doing the right thing and being a responsible dog owner. A lot of council are not tolerant with dog owners anymore and to me the more you can do to have the rights of owning and keeping dogs (especially a few dogs) it is best to do all you can. It is illegal in SA to debark your dogs. You need a stat dec signed by a JP with the council permisiion stating that you have done everything in your power and this is a last resort. I would much rather see a dog debarked than dumped cause the neighbours complained the dog barks to much. Leanne
  16. My dogs only bark at feed times or sometimes when playing. Not all my dogs are debarked just the ones that can be a problem, will howl when not home etc. I have tried various bark collar and high frequency devises but not have been 100%. A bassets bark is very load and I live in a gully so it echos for miles. I feel better in myself knowing that nothing can be said about my dogs. My dogs have no idea that they can not bark. There are a lot of dogs around my area that do bark, but as I am the one that is known as the dog breeder, it has to be my dogs. I was still getting complaints once they had been debarked (the ones not debarked where only babies and still inside). I had the council rep come out with written complaints against my dogs which he soon ripped up after I showed him my guys where debarked. He must of told the trouble makers this as I have not had anymore complaints since. It is amazing the things that I get asked around here just cause I breed and show dogs, everyone seems to think that it instantly makes me a vet  Leanne
  17. I live in a residential area and have neighbours who will complain at anything, so I have to have my dogs debarked. I have a great vet (he is a grey hound vet) who has done this many times. My guys still bark and howl, but there is no noise at all. I have never had any problems with their breathing etc. If my dogs where not debarked they would have been taken away by now. It is a simple procedure and my dogs have all been back running around within a few hours of the op. If you are thinking of having your dog debarked you need to find a good vet. I have heard many dogs that where not done properly and have either barked just as loud as before the op or have suffered breathing problems after the op. Leanne
  18. Every dog is different, every breed is different. What works for you may not work for another. It is all trial and error. The best thing is to try your dog on a brand you like for 1-2 months, if not happy with the results try another and so on till you are happy. All we can do is give advise on what is working best for us. Leanne
  19. I use to feed my dogs supercoat but have since changed to Eagle Pack. A bag of Supercoat for large breeds would cost me $37.50 and only last 6 days feeding 4 dogs ( 18kg bag). A bag of Eagle Pack Power cost me $90 and last 4 weeks feeding 4 dogs ( 13.6kg bag). So all up Supercoat over 4 weeks is $150, Eagle Pack is a lot cheaper in the long run with a savings of $60 a months. My dogs look a lot healthier with small, firm stools ( not the massive cow patties they had on Supercoat). Leanne
  20. Ellz I don't know why your emails have not been answered. Give them a ring (it is a free call) and see. I have so far found them to very helpfull. As for the price of RC if you feed the recommended amount it is very reasonable. For me it works out to be $9.80 per dog per week. The inital outlay for a bag is off putting but when you work out what you are feeding now with all the added stuff (meat, vitamins etc) you will be surprised. I will let you know in a couple of weeks if I think it is any good. Leanne
  21. Ellz, I emailed them today and had a response soon after. I also got my breeders card today and my dogs have had their first feed on it. All loved it and was gone in seconds, even my really fussing bitch who is hopefully 3 weeks pregnant and who has been off her food the past couple of days. Leanne
  22. Ellz I rang their free call number then printed the breeders member form from their website and sent that in. Leanne
  23. Forgot to add that RC for 6 large dogs works out to cost just under $10 per dog per week. Thats a pretty good price I think. Leanne
  24. Hi Ellz The price for a 17kg bag of Maxi Adult RC is $78 and Maxi Junior RC $82 if you have a breeders card. You also get every 10th bag free, breeders pack with hat, jacket or jumber etc and puppy packs when you have a litter. This is the price from Royal Canin and should be the same price from your supplier. I have used EUK and found it dearer and only a 15kg, my dogs didn't do well on it either. Leanne
  25. Thank you all for your comments. I have sent away for my breeders card, so as soon as that gets here (10-14 days) I will start my dogs on Royal Canin. Leanne
