I don't feel so worried now. Not happy about sitting up most of the night though, my other litter is 5 days old and I can use as much sleep as I can get. I am far from being organised I have decided I will put Storm and her pups in the WIR in my room that way they are still close and Scarlet can go next to my bed where Storm is now. Storm's pups will be about 2 weeks old. Now I just need to clean up the WIR :D Leanne

I could understand her panting if it had been hot but it was rather cool last night. Scarlet is at the other end of the house from my bedroom at the moment and I could here her in there with the door shut and lying next to Storm in her whelping box who was either panting (letting milk down) or snoring. It is warming up this morning and she is fine Leanne

Babies are still cooking have no idea what that was all about Scarlet settled down about 3am and is fine this morning. Leanne

Well Scarlet is scaring the crap out of me tonight. She still has 8 days to go and is panting flat out (have never heard her pant like this before) and is scratching up the bottom of her crate. It is not hot here so not sure what to make of this So instead of trying to get my few hours of broken sleep with my 5 day old litter I am sitting here watching Scarlet to see what she does Leanne

I am so sorry Panxan I have been there many times and know how heart breaking it can be. Leanne

It is hard to say as it also depends on the lines. Storm last time had 8, this time she had 6 but 3 didn't make it. Scarlet was 1 of 3 but going on the size of her she may have 6-8, she is a very solid girl and some pups may be hiding up in her ribs. Must admit I do like colour on the Bullies See your girl is acting like a pregnant girl should, the only thing different with Scarlet is she refuses to eat dry food now, but she is still a loony OH is taking the kids fishing next weekend so it will be nice and peaceful for Scarlet to have her babies. I am hoping Scarlet will have hers naturally, getting sick of c-section Leanne

Congrats Lynai on your confirmed pregnancy I will get Scarlet xrayed next Wed, I am so hoping there is only 4 or 5 in there Leanne

Dhana your girl is looking gorgeous. Is the father white as well? Scarlet has 9 days to go now and I keep forgetting she is pregnant she was hooning around the back yard last night like normal and not like a heavy pregnant bitch I am hoping I can get a couple nights of decent sleep (Storms's pups are 4 days old) before she has her babies otherwise I think I may go a little insane Leanne

Can I have one of the multi coloured pups, can you imagine how much you can charge for them Leanne

The babies are so gorgeous, love little Beagles faces. The girls had a good night and have all put on about 20g :p Leanne

She's very cute, the brindle girl at this stage has the best head. She is doing an amazing job with so many babies. I was hoping with only having the 3 babies that Storms milk would cope but so far have had to top the girls up a couple times. They seem to be holding so far today but will weigh them again soon and top them up if need. She only has 2 teats that have lots of milk in them at the moment. I am hoping when her milk comes in properly that she will have enough for them. Glad there is only the 3 though Leanne

Yes it is a good thing as we are all so close in birth, our babies share the same birthdays Storm and girls are still doing well. All night I could only get milk out of 2 teats and was thinking I would still have to feed one pup each feed but just gave Storm some oxy and there is milk everywhere now, the girls are loving it and all have milky grins now ;) It was hard losing the other pups and I have a lot of pet people who are going to be dissapointed but I am very happy with the 3 girls that I have and 3 is so much easier to handle plus I still have Scarlet to go in 12 days Leanne

Thanks FBC I am very happy with 3, hopefully this means I don't need to top them up and having 3 girls gives me a good choice, I am liking the black and white girl. I will get better pics tomorrow when they have all settled in. Leanne

We are home again. Storm had 6 pups but 3 didn't make it. She had 4 girls and 2 boys and we bought home 3 girls. Black white girl - 340g Black girl - 310 Brindle girl - 314g Storm is recovering well and the bubs are feeding well Leanne

This 2 hour wait on the vet is killing me I have the puppy basket, blankets, towels, hot water bottles all in the car ready to go. Storm is still sleeping on the lounge oblivious to it all Leanne

Looks like it is the weekend for Staffords, Storms temp is down to 36.8 Rang my vet and he is busy for the next couple hours, Storm is showing no other signs at this stage so feel it is safe to wait. Should have babies later on today Leanne

Sounds like you could be in for a very early start Storm is still holding on to her babies, vet said today that will we do the c-section Monday if she doesn't go tomorrow. Leanne
