  1. Yarrowfella I am so sorry about the babies you lost and hope that your little girl will grow into everything you wanted. All the babies are stunning I moved Scarlet and her babies into the family room yesterday near Storm and her babies. OH is happy to be sleeping back in the bed as he has spent the past 4 weeks on the lounge Storms babies are now at that stage where they play rough and make lots of noise. The 3 of them where having a real go at each other and poor Scarlet sh*t herself. She was wedged into the furtherest corner with her eyes buldging out of her head. Just wait till her babies start fighting with each other, they are already starting to growl at each other now Leanne
  2. Ring your CC in your state and ask their advice. I know in SA once you have taken a deposit you are legally bound to sell them that dog. Leanne just spotted that you are in SA, give SACA a ring and ask for their advice, a friend tried to pull out on a puppy buyer that had paid a deposit and unless the puppy was ill she had to sell it to them.
  3. Storms babies at 24 days I am keeping this one Andisa they are gorgeous, I will take the black boy in a heart beat Sway your babies are so big will take purple collar please Leanne
  4. Going by her other post I think it may be a Stafford. Would love to know ops name as she would NEVER get one of my babies and I would make sure her name is added to the black list  Leanne
  5. Scarlet pups are now 2 weeks old and have their eyes open. They now all weigh between 1.2 and 1.4kg. boy1 boy2 sorry bit blurry girl1 girl2 girl3 Leanne
  6. Congrats Cowanbree on your Sheltie babies. Hope everything is going well with mum and bubs. Kelpiesrules, Yarrowfella and Dhana your babies are looking gorgeous. Kelpiesrule it is good to hear that your wee ones are doing better, fingers crossed that they thrive from here. Yarrowfella so glad that your remaining babies are doing so well. Dhana it is getting harder to spot your wee girl, so glad that she is thriving. LMWS I am so happy to read that your 2 little boys have found a mum to love them. I hope everything works out for you in the end and that your heart can heal. Wishing those with impending births the best of luck. Leanne
  7. From what I can gather from this post and your other posts is that your puppy is on main papers to be shown. No wonder the breeder is eager for an update and pictures. Would it really kill you to drop the breeder a quick email and some photos. Surely over the last 8 months that you have owned this pup you have a photo or 2 that you can send. Just because the pup is no longer living with the breeder does not mean that the breeder no longer cares about the pup. Do the right thing and contact the breeder. It is people like you that put breeders off of selling pups with main papers. Leanne
  8. This is so much fun. My youngest son My eldest son Jack Leanne
  9. I am so sorry for all that are having loses at the moment and hope that the surviving puppies thrive for you all. LMWS my heart goes out to you. Leanne
  10. I am NEVER doing two litters this close again Storms pups are 3 weeks old yesterday and I started them on some mince, now when I walk past them they rush to the front squeeling for more Scarlets pups are the size of a 2-3 week old litter and keep getting stuck under the pigrails. I tried removing them yesterday but they are still to young and Scarlet will lie on them if they get in the way so had to put them back. Once they open their eyes I will be able to remove them but for now I am pulling out stuck pups in the corners every half hour :D still getting bugger all sleep So good to hear your wee girl is doing so well and that the rest are gaining nicely. Leanne
  11. Congrats Yarrowfella on the arrival of your babies all the babies are looking fantastic Dhana your wee girl is gorgeous, it always amazes me how strong and determined the wee ones are. LMWS wishing you all the best for your girl and an easy, safe delivery of you bubbas Scarlet is fine, looks like this time it has worked no more leaking at all babies are still gaining at a rapid rate they should start to open their etes in the next couple days Leanne
  12. Scarlet is finally home ;) This has been one of the longest days of my life. Vet said that her skin etc just wasn't healing together so he scraped it all so its all fresh and put enough stitches in her to make a suit :D fingers crossed it works this time, so far there is no leak Scarlet is happy to be back in with her babies and her babies are so happy to have their mum back. Storm did a fantastic job today maintaining them but now they all have very full bellies and have snuggled into Scarlet. Thanks all for your support today, over tired and stress is not a good mix Leanne
  13. wow your temps are all over the place normally a bitch is in the 37 mark and when she drops to 36 you normally have 24 hours, but do not know what to say about your girl Leanne
  14. Thanks Partipaws. I am going to keep one of the girls and hopefully another will be going to Taz to be shown. Leanne
  15. Thanks Dhana Pups just had a feed from Storm she is such a good girl. Leanne
  16. Vet just rang he is about to start the op. He wants to keep her for a few hours after as she does not handle anastetic(sp) well. She vomits and last time it took her 8 hours to wake up Really don't think I will breed from her again, it is such a pitty as she is a stunning girl and so far these babies look fanastic I feel so bad for putting Scarlet through this just so I can have a pup. Could of bought a couple pups in by now with what this is costing me. Leanne
  17. No none at all, she does have very hard skin though. On Sat he put tripple the amount of stiches in that he normally would. He said he was going to try something different this time. Just put the pups on Storm and she loves them but didn't have milk so will try again in half an hour, if not I will have to give them a bottle Good news about your little girl Leanne
  18. Scarlet is at the vets now and he will ring me when he has finished. Last Sat he completely restiched her as she had torn all the internal stiches. Hopefully this time the stiches will hold, don't understand how she can be doing this as she does nothing but lie in the box or go quickly to the toilet. I am going to try and put her pups on Storm while Im waiting for Scarlet to come back, I don't really want to give them a bottle and upset their tummies if I can help it. I am sure Storm will take them but not sure if she has enough milk for 8 pups. With mastitis you need to express the milk and massage the limp out. Use hot and cold compresses when doing this. Also put your strong sucking pup on it. Leanne
  19. I was just changing Scarlets dressing inside her sling and some of her insides have fallen out I tried to poke it back in but it is to much so looks like she is off to the vets again first thing in the morning. You would think that after a week she would of healed up pretty well Leanne
  20. Scarlets babies now 5 days old. The little fat slugs are almost 800 grams Leanne
  21. Stunning photos everyone love the Chrissy pics so cute. Storms girls are now 17 days old. They are starting to bark, growl, wobble around and bite each other and mum Leanne
  22. Hi All, I am starting to get a bit worried that Scarlets pups are getting to fat and they are grizzly after a feed as if they have stomach aches. Scarlet is making that much milk now that I have to be carefull as it is coming out their noses. Her pups at 5 days weigh the same as Storms did at 9 days and there is only 3 of them and they are chubby babies. I will try and get a pic of a pup from each litter side by side as there is not much difference in them now Is there anything I can do to stop how much milk she is making? I have tried expressing milk but will she just make her make more? Normally my girls never have enough milk and I have to supplement the pups si have not come across this before. Any advice would be appreciated. Leanne
  23. Beautiful babies Kelpsierule. Glad to hear that everyone else's babies are doing so well. Well Scarlet managed to stay away fromthe vets yesterday so that must be a good sign. She is not leaking as much fluid as she was so hopefully the ABs are doing there job and I can take this sling of her in a couple days. Babies are all gaining weight nicely, between 40-70 grams a day. Can't wait to be able to sleep a solid 4 hours again though Leanne
  24. Huge congrats Partipaws and Dhana, so glad it all worked out well in the end and mum and babies are doing well ;) Both of you have lovely colours in your litters, sorry partipaws can't help you with your colours as I have no idea. Yarrowfell your poor girls look like they are ready to burst Scarlet was back at the vets again yesterday, this time she had fluid coming out of her stiches, her stiches are fine bit there is a loy of fluid in her abdomen that is seaping through. She now has this lovely sling/bra thing on that I stuff with padding to soak up the fluid. Vet has put her onto stronger AB and hopefully it will clear up in a couple days. I cut holes in the sling/bra for the teats to come through so that the pups can still feed but now they are having problems finding them Another sleepless night plugging babies into mum, wish they would all feed at once instead of taking it in turns. I am so over this litter and can't wait till they are older. Thankfully Storms litter (now 2 weeks old) is going really well and doesn't need much attention from me. Wasn't planning on keeping from this litter as I have 2 pups going to show homes but might keep a girl as I don't know if I will mate Scarlet again after all that keeps going wrong Leanne
  25. Scarlets pups 3 days old this is the noisies pups I have ever had, they all like to pile in the corner, whinge because someone else is there and then whinge again cause they get stuck All 5 (girl, boy, girl, girl, boy) boy1 boy2 girl1 girl2 girl3 Leanne
