  1. Simple answer. DON"T take him for walks. He is far too young and should still be playing wth his littermates. He needs only backyard play and NO walks, or you will ruin his bones and his feet as you can already see happening. He should not be on public footpaths unitl his vaccinations are completed as well. He is a baby. Get a crate and get him into a routine. Sleep, feed, toilet, natural play with toys etc. and more sleep. NO walks, just find a safe puppy school for socialisation purposes.
  2. This stuff is delicious. Could be worth a try http://abbottnutrition.com/Products/twocal-hn
  3. Unless your vet is a breeder of your breed and is active in the showring, I would not be listening to their advice re whether your dog is/was a breeding prospect. He does agility with his dogs and he never said he was a good breeding prospect he was just being polite. Way to jump to conclusions! Your words You said the vet thinks he has lovely conformation and is sorry the balls didn't drop. Why is that considered jumping to a conclusion?
  4. Try http://waggle.com.au/dog-apparel-m8/dog-boots-c11 they have a good selection of boots and socks, also try Muttlucks shoes.

  6. So are you saying that because he has suffered with this condition once before, they will not cover for the treatment of the same condition a second time? If the first histicytoma was not a pre existing condition, that really sucks. I found that was the problem with pet insurance. You'd think you were covered and then something ridiculous in the small print lets them off the hook. Edit - just read that you got insurance AFTER his histiocytoma was treated, so no, you will not be covered as it is a pre existing condition.

  9. The intitial outlay is expensive but you need to do what is best for your dog, not your wallet. If a specialist can identify the issue and put you on the right track to manage and fix it, surely that is a far better option for your dog than playing guessing games and trying heaps of different ideas???
  10. Rather than trying different things that may not work, please get a referral and take your dog to a canine dermatologist so a proper diagnosis can be made.
  11. You don't want to be involved and are trying to leave her to it? Why are you constantly posting about it all over a public internet forum then And, I bet your mother would not appreciate being called a "SOB" on a public internet forum.
  12. Was the last yeast infection no treated? No carbs as sugar feeds yeast. Prescribed systemic antifungals. Malaseb washes once a week. Keep dog clean, well groomed/trimmed and dry, especially mouth, ears and feet around paws and claws.
  13. Sandra has not slandered you at all. She has asked you some basic common sense questions. Take a deep breath and reread her post.
  14. If they don't have a phone, you need to ring the state breed club for them, or look up dogzonline GSD puppy ads for them (assuming they don't have internet either) thanks for that another one of those people who dont want to spend $1500 on a pup....... So you are helping them to buy an unregistered pup from Gumtree? Why not help them by finding a GSD that needs rehoming?

  16. You rang them? Why? haven't you better things to do with your time I think it is against forum rules to post ads like this up as you can get Troy into trouble.
  17. Clean around his lip folds with apple cider vinegar on a cotton wool swab.
  18. why don't they ask their old girl's breeder for recommendations? She/he may know people who are breeding with similar lines. Most breeders fly pups interstate without a problem, so why not try breed clubs in other states. Word of mouth is always best though.
  19. Maybe you should rephrase that Decent in who's opinion? The judge will no doubt consider their winner decent.
  20. Well, Julia just said on the 3pm news, that Tim had arranged to get her a Poodle in a few weeks time.
  21. That's probably because people don't know where it came from.
