Looking at over 700 entry forms sitting on my desk I am glad they are not A4
-
When anything changes on your entry forms your highlight pen is your best friend and not just for one show but for about 3 months of shows.
-
You forgot people who either forget to update their dogs rego from pending to a number or put in a false number or worse still one that makes the dog older than one of its parents...lol Once you have a good system show secretary can be a very rewarding experience.

Some nice pet pics....you cant stand over a dog and get a good show pose Mine is the pretty sheltie girl...lovely head shot -
What a low act to walk away from an injured person no matter what the cause. Mace have you ever thought that your obvious fear of dogs has been the cause of them lunging at you.
-
actually I prefer the one top left
-
Gayle, you dont expect an honest unbiased opinion do you. I am sure they will all have their own reasons, my girl had something in her foot, I couldnt run her etc etc etc. I doubt you will find anyone with the guts to come out and say what they really thought. They are dog exhibitors after all.

Twilight Shows - Would You Attend ? Victorian Poll
experiencedfun replied to SwaY's topic in General Dog Discussion
RP a country show on a saturday evening would be great -
mine are in the dog room, which is a pool room on the bottom floor, the best room in the house on hot days. But unfortuantely so many show people have lots and lots of dogs and they are in outside runs...no matter how people try to keep them cool in some temps its not possible.
-
I dont disagree at all. My concerns are probably more for dogs left at home.
-
My daughter took her GSD to the show and went BOB which finished her title. There were 10 GSD's actually there. I live 10 mins from the park and the temp at my place was consistently 5 to 8 deg cooler than in Melb. I wonder if those who stayed home due to the heat, also stayed home from work today to look after the dogs.

i think they were having staff issues around that time
-
lol I wouldnt hold my breath

Twilight Shows - Would You Attend ? Victorian Poll

Great poll Sway, I cant wait to see what the majority think -
I absolutely love evening shows but the area we currently use is not big enough to allow the exhibitors enough space. My secondhand report is that only one side of a ring was made available for group 5 exhibitors over these 3 shows, that is definately not enough room for 120 dogs and their entourage.

Long time no see Mersonmalinois. I am sure others can confirm. Joanne McCann is a Welsh Corgi person. I dont think I have ever shown under her as she is at the other end of the country.
-
There was one developed for KCC Park about 7 years ago. I am not sure if it was ever formalised.
-
What about the poor show officials. At least the dogs and exhibitors can choose to go and sit in the shade, the judges and steward spend ALL DAY standing in the heat.

Mini Schnauzer - Great With Kids?
experiencedfun replied to LamborghiniMurphy's topic in General Dog Discussion
The OP does not want advice.....have a look at the list of breeds they are interested in. I wouldnt call any of them suitable for toddlers.
