  1. Wish it was 2 weeks later when I will be in Sydney What an opportunity....have a great day/evening Would it be possible to get any handouts or notes from the talk?
  2. To be a champion you need to beat the best currently being shown. If you cant beat them then either your dog is not mature enough yet or plainly not good enough. If you can only get a title by taking away the competition what is the point.........

  14. I am looking forward to spending the day there...need to relax and unwind after being made redundant yesterday....ooohhhh just thought about another good point. I dont need to get up early on Monday for work, so I can really let my hair down tomorrow...........lol
  15. I am so glad that I just enjoy spending time with my dogs....whether there is a show or not I can still enjoy my furkids. Its not all about the ribbons and points. For those who are LOST without the show going ahead, call the friends you sit with and arrange to meet at a park for a picnic with the furkids. Remember from a couple of weeks out from a show most of your entry fee has been spent to prepare and run the show......
  16. does anyone know who the puppy corgi was that went puppy in group fri night?
  17. will be there both days.................cant wait
  18. well although I like my dogs to be appreciated I am a fairly shy person..........good on you if you win and love to run around again, I prefer to go and celebrate with friends
  19. so are you saying that taking other dogs from the same kennel to a show and then home to a bitch in whelp is risky.....so we should show for six months a year and then stay home and breed......hhhmmm remember during the six months of preparing the bitch, mating (well that would have to be at home to our own dog), whelping and rearing no person could leave the house in case they stepped on the footpath after someone walked their dog across it. I am sorry about your experience but we all take chances every day of our lives and those of our dogs. Showing is not all about winning blue ribbons, it is getting out and socialising, well in my case at least. I believe that most of us take the utmost care of all our dogs and responsible people do not take out dogs who are ill or been in direct contact with others who are ill. I like to think that most people do the right thing.
