  1. yes it is them and yes they had great danes and bichons...havent seen them around for quite a long time though
  2. I dont know about anyone else, but I find that letter poorly worded. Comes across as gobblydegook.
  3. Steve to breed 'registered' puppies they have to conform with the ANKC regulations as to how often and how many...but by using 2 sets of papers pere bitch they can get around it...who cares if supposed litter sister have puppies every 12 months....but when it is the same bitch having a litter every 6 months I find that unexcusable. *sp*
  4. Wayrod, I cannot understand why it even went out to club secretaries...are they 1. assuming every club secretary will pass it on...and 2. assuming every DV member belongs to a club
  5. it is about time. There are puppy farmers out there who hold several prefixes for several popular breeds. One that springs to mind has shelties, labs, goldens and more. They always pay by money order, their applications are always typed....they always make mistakes about the identity of the parents of the litters and when questioned they say the office girl made a mistake. I suspect when they breed a litter of 3 they register 5 to have spare papers so that bitches can have more litters. When you talk to these people on the phone you know its the same person but you cannot prove it. Well done Dogs Victoria for taking the initative to stamp out puppy farms.....
  6. not sure how genuine the op is....she doesnt reply to emails?
  7. In Vic catalogues are usually $2.50 for a group and $5.00 for a full. As with everything there are exceptions.
  8. TSD, on average how many entries does an agility trial get?
  9. as long as every exhibitor was paying a catalogue access levy it would work well....
  10. peaceful, it comes back to who is going to pay the cataloguer for the 8 to 10 hours of work?
  11. various tools available are not always to hand during an attack. Very sad for all involved.
  12. If catalogue were priced to reflect the true cost including the catalogers time and resources they would be double what they are.....cataloguers donate alot of their time unless they charge a surcharge on handling the entries.
  13. maybe I need to pay more attention to them next time.....from memory I think it was a reasonable entry
  14. i can email you the Lowchen page tonight if you pm me your email address......I heard a rumour that lowchens were refused challenges and the comment was supposed to be there were none of lowchen type.....big statement IMHO
  15. Catalogues a must have. But I refuse to buy one from the victorian country club that do their own and charge $7.00 for one with oodles of mistakes and its not even stapled together firmly. Love to keep my catalogues, they are history and a great way to research names and go back and research pedigrees.
  16. Well they are using their own rooms so no cost....supper, I have never been to a SGM with supper provided especially one that will be so quick. Electoral rolls, I imagine they would just be doing a member print out or hooking a pc into the system to check directly, advertising also minimal internal cost. Largest cost I can see is staff attendance.
  17. No its not Lolalpalooza....Kerry did the only fair thing and it didnt go my way....thats life disappointed but not upset... just happy for everyone and pleased that Sways advertising is out there....they are products that are invaluable to all breeders.
  18. No, maybe next time....I am sure all the winners are well deserved and will wear them regularly with pride... congratulations to all
