Plz Need Information On Shows
Norskgra replied to Poodlelovergirl2010's topic in General Dog Discussion
If I was you, I would go to a few shows so that you can see what you will have to do. You would also need a pup with show potential that is also on the main register with your relevant state canine body. -
I wouldn't wait. Seeing she is 12 months old, there shouldn't be much of a change in her teeth. Personally, I would take her to a vet to be checked. I am sure you love your little girl and it shouldn't make any difference to you whether she is a purebred or not but I am sorry, if she is a toy x mini, then she is not a purebred. To be a purebred, she would need to come from both parents of the same type of poodle at least.e.g both parents toy or both parents mini.

Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)
Norskgra replied to Boronia's topic in In The News
That is such great news that Jed is doing so well. -
Vicsta thought I was exaggerating about Shadow so tonight I thought I would test him. I asked him if he had done a poo and he pushed me to it again. While he was out, he did a seond one which we saw him do. I again asked him if he had done a poo and he oushed me towards it again. I walked a bit further and he came over and pushed me back until I was in line with it. Vicsta saw both times tonight and now she realises that I wasn'r exaggerating.

I also received an email from her.

...but this morning really surprised me. I was doing poo patrol and had completed the backyard and just finished the front. I went around the back where Shadow was and asked him if he had done a poo while I looked around trying to find it. He came up behind me and gently jumped up with his back paws on my back. He started pushing me and pushed me directly to where his poo was. I couldn't believe it. He is a very smart boy but I didn't know he was that smart.

Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)
Norskgra replied to Boronia's topic in In The News
Thank you Toohey. I am so glad that Jed seems to be showing signs of recovery. She is sorely missed. -
I will go with which ever one the majority likes. That site has quite a few nice ones. If you wanted to get as many people as possible to make a square, would it be better to go for an easier one? What is Jed's taste like? Does she prefer older style things or modern? That may help decide on what style.

I think it is a great idea. It wouldn't have to be anything fancy but will carry the thoughts of us all.

I am so sorry for the setback but hope it is not to major. Take all the time you need Jed, we will all be waiting for you. -
I have not been able to donate as funds have been very tight lately but I am really interested in helping to make a quilt for Jed.

Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)
Norskgra replied to Boronia's topic in In The News
Like everyone else here, I find myself checking this thread several times a day to see if there are any updates. I light a virtual candle every night. Jed is always in my thoughts and I really hope that it is not much longer before we have some positive updates. I am keeping Jed and her family in my thoughts. -
There is already a thread about this. Public Liability Insurance

Thank you for letting everyone know, Goldchow although it is not the news we wanted to hear. Run free those that have gone. -
Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)
Norskgra replied to Boronia's topic in In The News
Devastating news. I hope Jed recovers quickly but she will need a lot of help healing emotionally. If I can do anything down in Adelaide to help, please let me know. -
I don't see any problems with the limited register as it stands.

Thanks BB. She is gorgeous but can be a real little terror. She still tries to boss Tyra around as well as the others. Our next youngest one loves to play with her and is so gentle when they play. We will put Faith to bed and if we walk past her room without speaking to her, she will bark at us. She wants to be the centre of attention all of the time. Their owners of the ons you saw are quite new to showing but they do have some nice Elkies. One of them is related to some of ours.

Faith did not want to keep still and wanted to get back to playing with Tyra. I think Tyra enjoyed the short break from her demanding daughter.

We haven't taken an y photos for awile. I will see if I can get Vicsta to take some tomorrow,

Norskgra replied to Staycalm's topic in General Dog Discussion
I would definately recommend these kennels as well. I hae left some of mine there on one occasion and they were very well looked after.
