I have this problem with my GSD, he has been an absolute nightmare to contain and I have been at my wits end with him over it. A run is arriving tomorrow, thank the gods, because I was either going to kill him or myself over all the stress I too thought it would be unfair on him, especially given the type of dog he is...he is just go, go, go ALL the time. But the run is a decent size (6mX2.5mX1.8m) and it'll fit his clam shell pool, bed, toys and have room to wander about etc. He already gets exercise time every day, so it will be enough. It's a damn sight fairer than having him shot by the farmer over the back fence or hit on the highway. ETA: I tried extending the fence...it is currently nearly 8ft tall and electric fencing. Neither of which stopped him. Dog containment systems wouldn't bother him in the slightest, not if he's barging through stock fencing...so a run it finally was. It'll be the best $1,000 ever bloody spent

RIP Hopper How lovely that you cared so much to post for her :p

Don't know about it being as good as BARF patties, but I had it fed to a severe EPI dog and it helped save her life without a doubt (in combination with creone and megaB vitamins).

Can Prednisolone Cause Anxiety?
shekhina replied to Mum to Emma's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Only thing I can say is follow the instructions carefully to come off it...I go through the worst withdrawal from those things if I don't come of very, very slow and I would hate for a dog to go through that :D -
So sorry for your loss Warley  RIP Benny, what a gorgeous boy you were

I'm so sorry Anne As you would know, as an inflammatory response occurs because her immune system has detected the spread and picked it up in the lymph nodes, but there is nothing the body can do for this cancer. Reality absolutely stinks :o You have done every single thing you could have done that is fair, loving and caring. All you can do now is enjoy the time you do have left

Sophie is still looking fantastic Anne! I know with Jaida she lost SO much muscle tone all over her body and her coat went very dry and dull. I didn't realise how much she had changed until I went back and looked at her older photos, it was really sad I hope the appointment goes well tomorrow, I'm sure she's still doing great :p

I hope you and Sophie are doing well today Anne. Her levels dropping like that so quickly is amazing, a good thing you took her off the tablet I think!
