Can you hire dog trailers from anywhere? Google isn't helping me. I am just after a two berth trailer to get as all down south for a holiday but I don't think we'd all fit in the van with all the baby stuff. I'd even consider buying a cheapie.

Herbie (Pug) sleeps in his crate, he would be welcome in our bed, but he is guaranteed to wee or poo in the house over night. Crating is the only solution we could find for this. But he seems to like it and will now put himself to bed. When we had more space his crate was put in a pen and left open so he had some space, but we just don't have the room in this house. Juggernaut (St Bernard) sleeps inside, where ever she wants (but not the bed) She had a bed of her own, but she never used it and it was in the way, so now she will move between outside out bedroom door, our daughters bedroom door or in the dark in our closet. This way she can wake us up to go out if she needs and she can move around to find cool/warm places. She doesn't get up on the furnature (when we are home at least) she is a very good dog.

Is it an option to put it right up at the top of the fence line, so she has to jump to get the zap? It would put you daughter out of any danger (as far as my understanding of ping strings go)

i wish. I have lived in Joondalup and have just moved out of Wanneroo (rented the property out) and i HATE living where i am now, and this just adds to it. mine you, i am a bit cranky at COJ right now as Tuesday was my last day of work at Lakeside, it was forecast for hail, i am 37 weeks pregnant and i have to be out of work ASAP (its a 5-10 min waddle to the staff parking) to get my daughter from day care, so I parked under cover at the shopping centre and forgot to shift my car. lovely $60 fine for me when i got out to go home. Grrrr. but there is not grounds for appeal there, it was my fault and i was in the wrong. I called the council and was told that it was a good grounds for appeal, but she wouldn't guarantee it would work. Now i just need some paperwork from City of Wanneroo to prove they are registered with them. so fingers crossed for me. Its the last thing i can deal with right now.

We moved into a new council in July and I registered the dogs with them, it was only 3 months left of that year so I only paid a small about, so I could get a full 3 years worth when they cam up for renew in November. So November comes and I get the rego papers in the mail and stick them on the fridge with the intention of paying them when i get down to the local post office. Now, I have lived in two other councils and have never has an issue with dogs being registered, they have lapsed and I have never heard a word from the councils about it, and then when I remember I go in and pay again. But, I have just received a $100 fine for each of the dogs because I haven't paid yet. To me, this is pretty low, but sure, the dogs aren't registered, I just haven't come across this before. But, my dogs *are* registered, their rego at my old address is still valid (i have about a year left on that) so can I appeal the fine as they are still registered under the Dog Act? its in section 7 here: http://www.forgwa.com/DogAct1976_05-f0-01.pdf but its all Greek to me.

if you recall the threads on here then that case was happening, the Law educated DOlers stated time and time again that while the actual laws said something about "Displaying De-barked dogs", in legal jargon it was actually quite clear that it mean showing. They kept saying it, and every one kept ignoring it. You can take you debarked dog out in public, but you cannot show them unless they were debarked by Victorian law where all the alternatives have been tried. In the case mentioned this wasn't done, the dogs were debarked in NSW, perfectly legally there, but not for Victoria. it was an absolute money/time/energy wasting witchhunt.

do they have to have pups available? or would you be happy to find the right breeder first and wait until they have a litter?

so that makes Pet Rescue a puppy farm? Perhaps if all good breeders advertised there too it would make a difference and effect the business off the unethical breeders that advertise there.

Juggernaut is usually shortened to Jugg, Naut, Jugg-head or Nauty. but she does get called Jitterbug a lot which is just as long, but itr still works.

Does anyone else cringe when they see the dog with the skateboard in its mouth. I have felt the top of a skateboard, its like emery board. Just the thought of that on teeth makes me stomach turn. Cute dog though.

is she worth the drive? and she does a proper groom not just a bath and blow dry?

Does any one have any recomendations? the groomer i have been using doesn't have help anymore so can't groom big dogs. Thanks in advance
