rolex is eatting hills science diet dry food for large breeds. poohs arent all squishy & runny. he also eats fish..sardines. loves em.

hiya, we are the owners of a fiery lil 9 week old lab pup.......suffering from bites & nips Rolex thinks everytime i go to the cupboard or fridge Im getting something for him.so typical of the breed eh. maybe you could try some alternative like the sardines in jelly (cat food).....has no preserves...not fattening as far as i am aware.no expert thu. the breeder we got him from suggested that hills science diet dry food <very expensive stuff but good>, alternate meals of sardines in jelly <cat food> & marrowbones for a special treat. he is currently on 3 meals a day.plus training treats of the hills dry which he seems to really like. I think down the track i would like to get him on the BARF diet that is Bones & raw foods. Canned dog food can contain a lot of preservs & stuff..same deal with a lot of the dry foods. good luck with your girl....do you have pix you can post of her?? please please please..

sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking decission to make i know. Early this year I had to make the decission for both my 10 year old akitas. One was diagnosed with aggressive cancer & was suffering a sudden onset of violent seizures. The other a month later we thought he'd done his anterior crucial ligerment.operable we thought. when we took him down after he collapsed & couldnt get up we found all the suspention was shot both legs inoperable. Was heartbreaking cause mentally he was so allert.still a big pup.i held both of their heads & paws & cuddled them as they went over thebridge. Just know in your heart ol' Maya had a great life with you, you did everything you could,suffering no more will be looking down at you smiling & running free xxxxx

Thats got to be worth a try & Im going to give it a whirl. I believe you are right.they are always around us. I saw a medium not long after my 2 left this earth. I mentioned nothing of my dogs or their passing. She said Im deeply hurting & went on to describe both my dogs to a T. Height, colours, personality. She said I am tripping over them. How true that is. There is nothing physically I could trip over, its just where they used to laze around. The gates swing open & shut although they have been latched. Im always thinking/dreaming of them but I guess thats natural after them being such a big part of my life for so long. Thanksyou kindly Sina

In Memory of our Pinto Akita Inu's Yogi & Bear. Yogi~1996 to 18~1~2005. PTS after suffering violent fits caused by an aggresive brain tumor. Bear~Feb 1995 to 21~2~2005. PTS after rear legs collapsed. In operable. Still all choked up with feelings of loss. The both of you went within a month of each other & we never saw it coming. It was the hardest thing to let you both go as you were our babies, our everything. Yogi~You had a rough start before we rescued you & I wish we had have found you earlier. You were an excellent addition to our pack. You were such a lovely little dreamer of a girl, so gentle & loving. Gave so much. Bear~ you tried to tell us something was wrong with your girl. She was fitting when you woke me up. You were so smart & alert to the very end & I'm sure if it were not for your legs you would have been around for a long long time. You were the best dog. So loyal & loving & a real rascal when you wanted to be. You showed Yogi the light & led her to happiness. Good boy. You both baught so much happiness & joy into our lives & endless amounts of memories that no one can ever take away. We miss your kisses, cuddles & affection. Miss looking into your endless deep dark eyes & running our hands through your fur. We miss you both terribly. We still feel your presence though, gates swing open & shut. We trip over nothing in places were you both would lay. We hope you are both running free together...until we meet again my friends Sina, Russ & Shay.
