wednesday is good for me too, It's fridays that I have the prob with and tomorrow! lol but apart from that I'm pretty free!
-
That works for me! let me know the time and We'll be there with bells on! This will work well as I need some help with controlling the weaving! lol jocks too quick but he won't do them with out me by his side!
-
Well I took a break for a while but leading up to our agility trials I have been doing the basics like weaving and jumps, but I make every walk a time to work so they sit by the curb and do some stays before running off to play but apart from that it's pretty much the usual!

I :D this trick snoopy learnt it so well that youcan say 'Spin' and he goes one way and then you say 'back' and he'll go back the other way, that took him a few months to learn mind you I was inconsistant about training him to do it

Useful And Not-so-useful Dog Grooming Implements
smisch replied to samoyedman's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Okay I don't show my dogs or anything, but My sheltie X still gets alot of grooming and he malts alot! I absoloutly love the MARS Coat King, In my opinion they are the best thing snice sliced bread, it looks painful but the dog loves it and we get so much hair off him -
I guess so, I meannwe haven't achieved titles yet but then again I have only had jock 11months and snoopy about 18 so to be competing is pretty good and snoopy was pretty messed up at first, he's changed so much
-
Well, snoopy jock and I had some achievements but they are not nearly as spectacular as evryone elses 1)snoopy finally can be taken out in public with out trying to eat evry other dog, 2)Jock learnt stay, drop, sit, come and spin 3)they are both competing in agility 4)snoopy and jock can both be let off their leashes So thats a few our goals for next year are to gain at least one title with each dog! and maybe to get jock into pets as therapy!

Agility Trials 28th/29th October
smisch replied to smisch's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
It was a really good weekend, snoopy was abit cheeky on day one he figured out how to unzip his crate! Day one: snoopy did two obstiscles ran to the BBQ came back did one more and decidied he'd had enough, jock did three jumps ran to the BBQ too! he then came back and we finished! so both DQed! Day two: Snoopy and I got DQed before we started (my fault) I took a piece of sausage into the ring and gave it to him before we started so that was a mistake but he had a good run but It wouldn't have qualified anyway! Jock was brilliant he went really well we got on the home stretch and then he refused a jump took off out the ring to say hi to a doggie friend came back and finished the course, man he was quick! I am so wrecked!! the boys were wrecked too! but all in all it was a good weekend, I haven't gotten around to downloading the photos I took yet but it will be done in a few days so keep on waiting! -
