Some people are just too stupid oh tell me bout it it was almost as funny as the stupid staffy X BOX TERRIER I swear I work with some of the dumbest people some days... oh the other one that annoys me is another friend has a few Bcs one with papers (from what I class as a poor breeder, I think they're a touch shonky) the other 2 without anyway they took the dogs to the beach and some guy wants to breed the papered BC (male) to his bitch... sigh and they are actually considering it... if this Bc didn't have papers you'd swear he was a mix.. why am I friends with these people....
-
ooooh I like those ones... not that they'd really care they'd be like oh well too bad so sad... But I'll try and talk it through them...

Tell me about that stupid associate rule.. ARGH killed my life when I registered Denver.. I already had jock in my name in NSW and they wouldn't do it.. so Den is registered as an over the border dog... But I have found a way through if I end up with another working rescue... SPORTING REGISTER!!! I almost did that before I thought of over the border.. both dogs are legally registered with dogs NSW and have been accepted under my CCCQ membership so no issues there! staff and Toller as mentioned in my previous response its the biggest pain known to man.. the only thing I HATE about this state.. if a dog is from a registered rescue an owner should be allowed to register as many of those dogs as they want to compete with there shouldn't be the 2 Associate dogs per membership per lifetime if registered at the same time crap that currently goes on... like I said I had the biggest issue registering my BC that is a pure that is from the AWL cos I have jock who is an RSPCA dog and Snoopy (who has passed one) who was also from the AWL... I rang the CCCQ to get the paperwork to fill out sent to me and they asked me do you have any other AR dogs and I said yes they are registered in NSW and they're like no sorry you can't register him.. so I held off joining CCCQ for a few more months and used my dogs NSW membership to register him under my NSW residential address which has since been vacated so I could trial this dog... It furstrates me.. Chocolate Lover I hope you can get his papers cos its gonna be a damn side lot easier than the crap us with Associate dogs go through...

CAN SOMEONE SHOOT ME BEFORE I GO INSANE!!! A girl from work recently got a puppy, a Shar pei x Staffy and she brought it from a petstore.. Strike one... She got it at 7 weeks old Strike 2... She wants to breed it with another staffy when its 10 months old cos supposedly breeding it with a staffy will gte rid of the pei-ness... WTF would you have brought a staffy X if u wanted a staffy... she couldnt even tell us the breed she was like oh its a staffy X sorbent toilet paper dog.. the Rolly one... The guy at the petshop was like oh yeah 10 months is fine just call me when your ready! ... And supposedly this breeding will result in purebred staffies.... yeah right I turned around and said to her, why oh why when that puppy is the result of a shonky backyard breeder or a puppy mill.. and she was like whats a puppy mill.. and then another girl joined in and was like oh you can breed him to my dog hes a staffy mix... "oh yeah what is he" Staffy X Box terrier Ah (insert name here) He's a Staffordshire Bull terrier X Boxer Whatever... ARGH!!!!! let me just bang my head up against a brick wall, I'm pretty good to pick a fight with but then I have these two who think they're so awesome gang up on me with their amazing dogs.. the Staffy Boxer can't even be walked on a leash and spends most of his time tied up cos he destroyed the yard... and these arent the kind of people u can provide literature to or try and express your views to cos they're very "well anyway blah blah blah...." they just ignore you brush it off.... STUPIDITY OF PEOPLE PLEASE SHOOT ME NOW!!!!!

Agility Nationals Perth 2010
smisch replied to RallyValley's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I was supposed to be going that was my goal this year but my stupid study doesn't wrap up in time so I can't take time off not even for nationals and my boss knows how much we wanted this lol shes watched my comps... and between that and Denver being fairly fresh and the money I just couldn't manage it this time.. and this was even staying wiht a friend..so no nationals for jock.. hopefully we can keep him going for 2012 But good luck all and we'll see you in Syndey for 2012 hehehe I will DEFF be there!! -
YAY to Chloe and Shine! Chloe your going to be as great as your mummy one of these days, talent runs in the family.. come up and run Jock anytime.. sounds like he'd do better with you lol! That weather -UGH-.. it sounds like the weather we had up here 140mm of rain in 24hrs.. My brag for the day is that the brat of a border Collie has learnt how to enter the weaves from pretty much any postion.. I can send him ahead from a 90 entry, from the left or right side.. his left are more confident and speedy but his right side are catching up! I had trouble keeping up with him.. It was like running a bullet! I need to learn better distance!

Important Info For Qld Agility People
smisch replied to smisch's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I'm so excited for March 3 trials in 3 weeks.. common Denver and Jock lol!! hopefully Jock can be on his way to his JDX one of my goals for the year along with the SPD... As for Den.. yay we're starting Open!! woo! and we'll do gamblers and possible novice agility but that is still undecided lol! -
Just got in from training with Neil & Shirley and I offered to post this info on here~ The Queensland Agility and Jumping dog Club Trial to be Held at MT GRAVATT on the 13th of March will now be held at the DURACK GROUNDS CCC Dog Showgrounds, King Ave, Durack QLD the rest of the details are still the same and you will probably receive a call from Shirley herself but just warning people in advance! And I have also been told that we are the only people there that day, Its gonna be a great trial and i'm sure we'll all have a great time! Hope to see you all there! Sam

smisch replied to Sue & Waldo's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
And you need a certificate of Desexing that you can send a copy in!! Good luck! Dogsports are addiction! -
Lol I'm glad to see the thread hasn't died here are my few Last nights Trial Training last week! First Trial of the year! I'm deff not editing my videos as much as I used to lol!! Macka I subbed to you!
-
Thats our link to the vid.. Thanks everyone! Vickie thats actually his 2nd Trial we did one last weekend.. Cos up until last week this dog was completely self taught and he was running courses and giving me what I asked I made the choice to try and transfer that into a ring.. this weekend was a real improvement from last.. He was psychotic last weekend with jumping up on me all the time.. this time he was better.. but the jumping up is because he is lost on where to go cos mummy is still very green at handling him! Lia Congrats!! you and Kaos have come so far as well I remember seeing your First ever run! Oh and for all the sydney siders going to D2D one of the judges (Neil) is one of my instructors! I train with him and his wife, they run small classes in their yard! Both great people and they do amazing courses so good luck all!

We have had an excellent night tonight... DENVER GOT HIS FIRST Q!! I couldn't be more over the moon considering I have owned this dog for 5 months. We got a Q and 3rd in Novice Jumping tonight! It was the best feeling ever except the ending where he jumped up on me and out of excitement nosed me right in my eye.. black eye coming on!! I'm just beyond words of proudness for this dog.. he has come so far in such a short time... Jock had one good run one terrible run... his good run missed out by one bar! cos mummy was an idiot and called jock instead of tuck and he lost bum end control and knocked his bar.. ti would have been a beautiful run apart from that! Thats it for trials till Caboulture in march!! March is a busy month for us!! Bring it on!!
-
Thats my brag for this week with hopefully more to come after tomorrow night! I have worked so hard on Denver's weave entry and contacts and he has it down to a fine art.. for those who don't' know i have only had this dog since the end of august so he has come so far from the fat shelter BC he was! We have another Novice jumping round tomorrow.. 7 obsticals is our goal last week it was 5 and he nailed the opening like he was born to do it and the rest of a tad messy but done!! so we'll up our stakes!

Please Explain Strategic Pairs And Gamblers
smisch replied to Yacket's Mum's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Thanks Vickie for the awesome Description! I understand the concept of the games but explaining them is always a challenge. Yacketsmum I think that Biscuit and Cooper would do well together Cos cooper is calm and reliable (mostly as any dog is) but I'm sure we'll talk more tomorrow... And you and Biscuit will keep getting better.. I can't stress it enough that you guys had such a great time and it showed... and Biscuit will keep enjoying himself if you do!! As Shirley said at training "I love that dog he has such attitude!!" -
Please Explain Strategic Pairs And Gamblers
smisch replied to Yacket's Mum's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I just had the strange thought if Den could jump 600 (which he can no sweat lol the border with bounce lol) He and biscuit could run pairs haaha the hilarity of that . . I dont plan on putting Den in pairs for a while though cos its just waaaaay to insane for my already insane Bc that likes a good chase and i thin biscuit would do better with a slightly more expierenced partner lol I think they may be doing snooker at that Trial so you guys could always try that. I have plans on doing games with Den to get him more ring time and just to enjoy it cos I love the games so your welcome to come join us in the snooker ring lol.. Jock will be running excellent but den and I will have a play Gamblers is great for distance work.. lets see if Jock can actually get it.. He missed his first Q by 2 points BAD MUMMY!! and he missed his 2nd Q by 2 sec cos mum was and idiot and pulled him away from the gamble to do other obsticals! -
First Agility Trial Of The Year
smisch replied to Nicole...'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Hi Ahh I didn't know you were on dogzonline! we were having a great chat walking out of the Excellent walking.. i'll give saxon that 13 and running like a pro!! Well we had an amazing night.. not a Q to be seen but some great work from both boys Denver I'm so proud of the opening sequence he gave me and then it kinda went down hill lol with me tensing up and then him making sure that I was okay. . What I was more proud of was Den going to take a jump in the neighboring ring and coming back when I called him.. that was my biggest fear annoying the other ring! Jock considering he's getting on and he hasn't been well gave me some great runs, DQed Ex jumping cos mummy was stupid and didn't push him out to the tunnel in time.. and 1 refusal in Excellent agility Which i was not happy bout but now I look at the vid and I can kinda see where the judge was coming from.. annoyed at myself though Open jumping was great until the concept of distance.. jock decided he wanted to be a Velcro boy.. But still he got 2/2 sets of weaves and he was just running and enjoying himself! which is all I want from him ever! Can't wait for next weekend.. am I gonna see anyone else there?? Big congrats to Yackets mum for her amazing debut.. Biscuit was amazing and I couldn't be more thrilled for her! -
First Agility Trial Of The Year
smisch replied to Nicole...'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
We're pumped and ready to go with a bit of a surprise.. Denver is running Novice jumping that could be either a dream or a disaster.. he has blown my mind with his work but he needs more and I need to find where my training has left holes.. so why not jock will be there too.. poor boy has a hotspot thats being treated atm so we'll see how he goes but he is slowing down and getting old.. I would say last year was his year and now its time to start retiring but we wont give up without a fight!!! I cant wait!! we'll see you all there, Its gonna be a looooong night! -
Yeah we'll be there It'd be nice to finally meet a few more DOLers! lol i'll be there with a shaved shelti with blue eyes Jock AD JD SD and Denver my new 22mth old.. Its his first comp! Yacketsmum will be there too with Biscuit who is also starting out.. Denver and Biscuit will provide evryone with laughter

My 2010 brag goes to Denver.. He's come such a long way and I'm looking forward to Saturday with him and jock.. I'm highly doubting anything exciting but it'll be fun! Heres the link to his training last Saturday.. He did an amazing job despite my poor skills.. Each run had a good part to it but my favourite thing was that he did not once miss his contacts!!! and his weaving has improved so much! We're only doing novice jumping on saturday cos I wanna 100% proof the weaves and the contacts for novice and wouldn't mind some more speed on his Dog walk but we'll work with it! Wish us luck!! we need it!
-
If this is the Abby I used to train at Agility with.. Ball obsessed is one way to put her.. mentally insane and the life of the party is another!! Beautiful photos!
-
My last brags for the year... We had the gold coast Fundraiser on Saturday... Jock ran alright for me considering its been a while.. Our first JDX pass which was great.. But the thing that made me so proud was his distance work in Open jumping, he got it easily and without me trying to send him 20 times as usual.. unfortunately it was a DQ due to earlier faults but still a major stepping stone for us.. Denver hits the ring in Late Jan.. Not sure if thats a one off or if its for good we'll wait and see its only novice jumping so we'll see how he runs lol!! congrats to everyone else!!
