Another Reasonable day today! Den managed a Q and 4th in Agility Verry happy with that run.. few wide turns but he's my baby dog lol so I'll forgive him... Rest of the runs were shockers lol but it's his first ever 2 day comp.. So he did pretty well Jock Got a Q and 2nd in Excellent jumping (Only to be beaten by another DOLer ) But still a nice run of a Potentially difficult course.. We also managed a Q and 3rd in Novice Pairs with Minkah so 1 more for SPD Thank gosh... Minks and Jock always have a good time together... All in All a Top weekend Looking forward to pine Rivers and States Bring it ON!! Congrats to our other DOL Superstars.. Special Mention to AgilityDogs who did bloody awesome!and Staffylover81 congrats guys!

What an awesome day today... I'm yet to confirm our placings and what not but here is the run down of our day... Den: Q in novice Gamblers Was really happy with this Q.. Good puppy, Also managed another Q in Excellent Jumping He ran the course in 25 sec jock ran it in 24.. there ain't much between them... Jock.. Q in Excellent Agility Was not expecting that.. was Deff one of our harder courses but we ran it well and was really pleased with it Q in Excellent jumping as well Giving us our TITLE YAY Chops... Video is coming.. I'm so proud of both my boys.. Each boy gave me 150% today Bring on tomorrow

We had something very similar happen a while back I got home and before I even opened my door I knew something wasn't right.. our front screen was off and a locked window had been jimmied open and our house was trashed.. Upon asking our neighbor she was like oh I could hear the dogs carrying on for a while but couldn't see anything... The dogs were preventing the guys from getting out the back door and cos our front door and screen were dead bolted there wasn't any other way out.. We reckon they would have taken a good snap or two at them.. And when mum finally made the choice to go in to check on all the animals heres the back door wide open and my two monsters standing there in the door looking as if to say "we didn't do it mummy" Spare keys to a car were stolen too.. my stepdad fully disabled the car on the off chance they came back... We lost so much stuff that day.. not the big things but the little more sentimental things and Its still hurts but I'm just more glad that they didn't hurt or steal my dogs.. Jock in particular is a real looker and it wouldn't surprise me if people would try and take him home.. Glad you guys are okay and hope these guys don't come back its a scary thing!

Well lets look at the breeder Both Cockers and Beagles are designed to work So your dog sounds like she has a natural drive to do things when there is a reward involved. I would start looking into taking to formal obedience lessons as there will be trainers there with far more knowledge there and will be able to show you first hand. Another thing you could look into for the future is something like Agility or Flyball as it would be a great way to stimulate her mind but first Get some formal obedience under your belt... My next question is Where does your dog sleep? Do you allow it to sit up on the couch with you? When does it eat? Before or after you? Try re-establishing your pack order with your dog. This means dog sleeps on the floor, Isn't allowed to sit on couches/chairs always on the floor and eats after you and NEVER before because in a Pack Alfa goes first and is always higher up. I have a young Border Who simply loves to chew toys.. I spend atleast $20 a fortnight on a few more toys with him and we do cycles his good ones are put away when i'm not playing with him and the rest are in his toybox for him to play with as he pleases as I buy new ones the old ones go into the box and the destroyed ones into the bin... Yes It is worth it as he gets hours of enjoyment and He NEVER chews our things like shoes and outdoor furniture unlike our neigbours lab who had no toys and destroyed their new outdoor setting
