Miss Audrey is doing well only 10 days to go. After thinking she had lost her babies , to seeing them on ultrasound with strong heartbeats, I'm extremely excited to say she had an X-ray to count numbers and she is having 5.

Thanks Ptolemy. I'm excited to say that miss Audrey had an ultrasound today and there's at least 2 puppies with very strong heartbeats. Only 26 days til they arrive.

Well done with the toller babies. Miss Audrey is getting a little tubby, didn't take her back to the vets for an ultrasound as the vet I usually see was away this week and didn't want to over stress her. She has gained weight and is a lot brighter now. My usual vet is back Monday/Tuesday so may take her in then for a check up. She only has 3 weeks to go if there is any babies still there.

Sorry haven't posted on here as we have had a few issues with our mum and babies On June 20 we welcomed to the world 7 beautiful shih Tzu babies. 4 girls 3 boys. Mum was quite unsettled and overwhelmed at first she layed on one of the tiny girls. Luckily we were there and noticed a puppy under her , pup wasn't breathing and had no heartbeat. A little bit of doggy CPR and mouth to mouth and I am extremely glad to say I managed to revive the puppy.

We have had a bit of drama with my girl. Miss Audrey has been passing a brownish discharge. She's still eating but very quiet. Vet seems to think she's absorbing/aborting her pups. Not sure whether to take her back to the vets for another ultrasound or just wait and see if how she goes?

My girl was confirmed today via ultrasound.

Congrats wazzat ans pockets on ur babies. Monteba so sorry for ur loss. That's the hardest part of breeding. My girl is due anywhere from late next week. Had her X-ray today to count puppies.

Mated a shih tzu girl on the weekend so fingers crossed for a litter July 27th.

We have confirmed by ultrasound a shih tzu litter due end of June. Very excited about this litter as it has the potential to produce some rare and interesting colour and coat patterns.

I have 5 baby puppy Shih Tzus entered on Sunday and 3 of my handlers have pulled out. Was wondering if anyone's interested in handling one for me? Will consider a junior handler. 2 of the pups is their first show so need gentle handlers as they may be nervy. Well table trained just need encouragement on the lead. Can provide passes if needed. Our passes are valid sweepstakes day as well as Tuesday and Wednesday.

Will be at the Monday show. Depending on the size may be able to pick them up for you. Not sure what vic shows I have coming up though.

My Shih Tzu puppy was puppy in group today st the ekka. Miss Hollie is only 8 months old. So proud of her and her co-owner and co- handler mel.

Update on baby Thomas. He's bleed turned into pneumonia. He's been on daily antibiotic injections. Today he decided he didn't want his milk so I thought as he's almost 4 weeks I'd offer him so soft puppy food. He loved it. Another great progress happened as well. Got home from work (great thing is he can come to work with me), I thought I'd put him in with his sisters and mum for a little socialisation and the first thing Thomas does is have a feed from him mum. Vets think he should be able to go onto oral antibiotics tomorrow.

I can take it but it won't be until Thursday night/Friday morning as I'm travelling from albury to Sydney then.

Thanks. Every small improvement is celebrated. He's a little fighter. Wasn't a "keeper" puppy but may be now.

A step forward for Thomas today. He was very eager to have a feed twice today. Back at the vets and although his left lung is still sounding awful, he is maintaining his temp and weight. Poor little man he's on injectable antibiotics and subcutaneous fluids daily so more needles he screamed for the first time with them today.

update on my baby puppy. Thomas had a series of x-rays today. vet suspects hes had a trauma and has had a bleed into his lungs. His mum although its only her first litter has been one of my best mums so not sure how it has happened. He has had subcut fluids, antibiotic injection and some glucose to help him. he is being suplimented so fingers crossed he pulls through.

Just heading out to lunch now will get him some.
