I note the the 2 facilities named in both articles are in Sydney Elite Performance K9 and Elite K9 Resort at Nerang. Wonder if they are connected. -
A lot of Vets in Sydney have now started charging a $35 fee for scripts .

And you won't have to worry about Pyometra.

Family Boarded Their Dog for Training. The Dog Never Made it Home.

On the video included in the posted link the Vizla looked like a perfectly normal 14 mth old dog. As well it had a Vet checkup before it was sent to the Training Facility and given a clean bill of health. And as Vet Rob Zammit also said on the same video "a professional trainer should have recognised the dog was sick after not eating for 4 days and contacted the owners to come and get the dog as it was obviously not working for the dog". Even when these facilities have good reviews one has to be so careful whom you leave your dog with . -

Terrifying Dog Attack in Sydney. Woman Injured Pet Dog Critical.
Deeds replied to Deeds's topic in In The News
Wolfhounds - sighthounds probably regarded the JRT as prey. The 2 of them obviously would have operated as a pack. They probably attacked the poor woman because she picked her dog up in order to protect it. None of this excuses the horrific attack on the woman and her dog. A tragedy for all involved. You have to be so careful who you can trust with your dogs. Not everyone cares for them like you do. -

The best Vet I ever had for my Giant Breed dogs was a horse Vet. Unfortunately she doesn't practise around here anymore (Inner West).

The breed I've had the most trouble with attacking my very large dogs are Jack Russells and Jack Russell crosses. Particularly the smooth coated tan and white ones. All with idiot owners. -
One of my park friends has an Airedale with hip issues. He is 6 yrs old. If he runs around with the other dogs he gets sore and often cries in pain. Their vet has recommended Ibuprofen for the pain and it works very well. He seems to get over the pain and soreness quite quickly with the Ibuprofen.

What about trying Suprelorin instead of surgery. I have used this quite a few times on my male dogs with little to no side effects. I usually use the 12 month one. It's not as invasive as surgery .
