There are a couple of Staffys and Dobes in my local area who have done very well on Cytopoint.
-
Short haired like a Staffy?
-
Sorry. I have no idea as I've never taken out Pet Insurance on my dogs. It should be in the fine print of your Policy. What breed of dog do you have?
-
You could try Cytopoint injections or Apoquel oral medication .Neither of them are steroids and Cytopoint is not chemical based. Both have to be prescribed by your Vet. I'm thinking if you could stop the itching effectively it may stop the Conjunctiviitis. https://www.harmonyanimalhospital.net/cytopoint-vs-apoquel/

Perhaps contact your Vet. Pets to Rest may have sent your dogs ashes to your Vet for you to collect. That's how it has always worked with us. -

Breed advice - Vizsla vs Flat Coated Retriever
Deeds replied to nat_o's topic in General Dog Discussion
For intelligence and looks and training ability I'd go for the Flat Coated Retriever. And they are a lot calmer as Dogsfevr said. The Vizsla would be easier to look after as far as grooming and looking for ticks. From my observation of the Vizslas around my way they are highly strung and a lot needier. I've had Curly Coated Retrievers in the past and they were brilliant. -
Apologies @sandgrubber. I hadn't read your post when I posted same.

He is gorgeous. I love Aussie Terriers. -
I also keep Trazadone on hand for stressful vet visits etc. I give it to my dog an hour prior to consult appt.
