We went to the Illawarra one too, those Leonburgers were so spectacular and so was the Boerbull! Saw the biggest wolfhound I have ever seen and all the dogs seemed so well behaved. Jed just took it all in his stride and I think the whippets enjoyed themselves too. Weren't the leonburgers stunning! I missed the boerbull though I resisted the urge to cuddle the wolfies and saw some gorgeous great Danes too. I heard the 'hot dog' won the costume contest. We got lots of lovely comments about the greys (and I am sure you did too snippet). I would have loved a dollar for everytime I got asked if Oscar the iggy was a whippet - but always nice to introduce people to a breed they haven't seen before. The boerbulls are owned and bred by the lady who owns/runs Naughty Dog School. I took Kirah there for training when she was about 6 months and was introduced to them there. The puppy was *much* littler then!! I think she said he's only 10 months old too! I did see a few greys but only from a distance -- I walked past one with its green collar and saw another on the other side of the park with a muzzle. Very stunning though. I also may have seen your Iggies CBL -- I do remember seeing greyish mottled ones (maybe??) and saying OMG whippets so am not sure. There was also a gorgeous Wolfhound puppy who fell asleep on this little boy's lap after the walk. I was sitting on the grass near the agility set-up and they were sitting nearby. The pup was cuddled up on the boy upside-down completely buggered! It was so cute! That would have been one of snippets whippets I think (she has a blue and white one) - my Oscar is a red fawn (and I think was the only iggy there - I had my 2 greys two a blue and white and a black). I saw one of our vet nurses with her two brindle and white whippets there too. I loved the wolfies! My brother took his very odd looking but very gorgeous wolfie/ shepherd x rescue boy along too.

Ella the foster carer sent me a message to the Iggy Rescue FB page this morning to say the boys have put on weight Dusty was 10.3kg and is now 13.7kg, Phoenix was 9.1kg and is now 11.7kg's -
Has anyone used the auto-delivery option on the Paws for Life website to get their Black Hawk delivered?
-
Yep its just one of those things - it suits some but not others. My greys did fantastically on it but Oscar the iggy got anal gland issues... They are all on Eagle Pack at the moment but the greys have lost weight (and Patch won't eat more to make up for it). So I will be putting the greys back on BH and leaving Oscar on Eagle Pack.

Yep I think you are right persephone. Kja those shots are simply stunning!

Not sure about whippets but my greys love soft toys, I can imagine that they would. They look so much better already, it's wonderful to see them looking warm and content, -
yep hubby makes the reptile backgrounds and we do dogs! hahhaa as I recall you didn"t take us up on our offer of a very cute puppy  but I bet it was tempting? :D oh yay I figured it must have been you! Small world! LOL they were seriously cute - however I was thinking about the look on husbands face if he came home expecting a reptile tank background and a puppy was there instead. I didn't see Rodent though, he would have been extra tempting! You have no idea how much I wanted to come through the gate and roll around with the puppies LOL I looked up Desert Dogs - what a brilliant rescue group! Well done on everything you guys do!
-
Sorry, should put that in context - I picked up a backing for my dragons tank the other day and I swear these pups look like the foster pups they had :)
-
Hey muttrus - you don't happen to be in Wollongong do you and foster for Desert Dogs?
-
Lilly our grey is the first bitch both my husband and I have owned. She is gorgeous and affectionate but we both tend to gravitate towards males. Oscar my iggy gets mistaken for a female all the time - he is a pretty boy!

Just breaks my heart My poor husband, I told him about them and said there were photos, he refused to look - it was enough for him to know we had given some $. I hope to show him photos of 2 healthy looking boys in a few months time :) -
