I have a friend who's dogs toenails are long, there is nothing that can be cut off without drawing blood. The nails are twisting the toes in all directions when she stands on concrete or any hard surface. Any ideas on how to get the nails shorter? The dog is a showdog. They live in the Wynnum area and have been told by a local vet he wouldn't cut them shorter.

Awww I dont want bulkier poos lol. Enough here all ready without more. We are going to try something else I think. We feed BARF as well.

No smells here but toilet training went out the window. All have dirtied their kennels on Supercoat. Very unusual behaviour.

This is probaly pedantic but I have used the same vet for over 12 years but he is nearly a hour away from us, so we decided to give the local vet another go (long story as to why I didn't like them and they are good vets). Well, Peppa hurt her eye, they wanted to check on it a week later, so back we went, expecting to pay for any creams etc but not a revisit fee of $27.50. I was pretty disappointed especially when they said we would like to check her eye again in a week. So back to my old vet who has been doing weekly checkups on Psycho's shoulders at no cost!

I can't help with the actual problem, but as a breeder, even if it is 12yrs down the track I would like to be told. All our love and best wishes going to you friend and his girl!

We only vaccinate our puppies with C4.

We still only get the C4. I use to be around alot of kennel dogs, and regularly even with the C5 vaccs my dogs would pick up Kennel Cough. So i gave up, it worked out cheaper to treat KC immediately when it appeared then it was to vaccinate with C5 each year.
