RIP Mr Colby
-
He is gorgeous

I have been head-butted in the forehead - man dogs heads are hard! Knocked over by a running dog taking out my legs, a few fat lips, numerous scratches, and a scar on my hand from a bite when I was breaking up a fight

Any Ideas Of Where I Can Get My Big Girl Some Pj's/sweater?
Daisy replied to frenzied1's topic in General Dog Discussion
anniek might be able to help you out, her coats are great! They are made for greyhounds but might fit a wolfy x http://www.freewebs.com/anniescoats/index.htm AND all profits go into making more coats for rescued greys, Annie always donates coats for my fosters, she is an ETA I have had pjs for my greys, but I find them a little difficult to get on and off, especially on the older dogs. -
I would rather have my dogs than nice 'things' too

So very sorry to see this Jac. Sending you big hugs in your loss Rest easy Cordelia, you are very much loved.

Petition To Make The Humans Pee Outside On A Cold Frosty Morning
Daisy replied to 7464's topic in General Dog Discussion
All four paw prints from me! I haaaate going outside when it is frosty and getting my toes cold! Mum actually thought that I might be getting arthritis or have something wrong with my legs, but then she realised that I am just walking funny because I REALLY dont like the cold nasty white stuff on the ground! I would much rather stay in bed with my little sister, even though she can be a real pain she makes a good hot water bottle. Ryan the greyhound. -
why? they are a recognised breed unless your dog is a kelpie x? The vet automatically puts coolie x on vet cards the Vet may be used to seeing a different type of Kelpie, not the beautiful pedigree ones! I had a bit of a chuckle at this Not to offend anyone, but I grew up with registered working kelpies and they were the only type I had ever seen until a few years ago. When I see pedigree show kelpies, I always think they look rather odd I guess it is what you are used to, I think the working line kelpies are stunning-looking dogs!

loving this thread :D I too am in the 'clucky over puppies' brigade, even if I don't want to own one I particularly like fluffy puppies (even though in adults I usually prefer smooth-coated dogs, go figure), and corgi puppies for some reason, but they are all cute of course And while I am a HUGE sighthound lover, the puppies are not among the cutest except perhaps for Borzoi babies

lol! If they are like greyhounds they will probably eat just about anything. My oldest boy has good taste though, he loves any kind of fruit, avocado, chocolate (yes he has found some a couple of times, I was so worried!), butter tubs, licking out the inside of peanut butter jars (after chewing the lid off!)... He is permanently banned from the kitchen!

wow he is absolutely gorgeous! How about Brando?

my current foster girl had a bit of flakey dandruff when she came here, but it has cleared up all on its own, usually a good diet helps, or sometimes I give them some sardines as well. Havent tried fish oil capsules but the sardines seem to work and the Woolies home brand ones are really cheap
