I train one on one with a instructor for herding, as for obed well i am an instructor that does one on one training sessions for basic obed, behaviour problems and trial training for new trailers. I my self have not trained passed Novice so i only do training sessions with people about to start trailing or who want to fix certain problems. I mainly do puppy education classes and basic obedience lessons for new dog owners. I really would like to find out if there are any instructors doing one on one trail training for higher levels, thats not just at dog club and do charge a fee for there service???? I find this kind of training priceless. when i get a chance to go in the ring and have one on one with an instructor at obed club, that myself and Cooper learn more, than just in normal class.

I am entered in CCD, only need one more pass and i get my title.....so really hoping Cooper will pull his head in and work for me this weekend I was at Gisborne trial last weekend and gained a pass, and won the class with a score of 89.....was pretty happy with that we would of gained our 3rd pass in the afternoon trial, if dopey didn't decide to drop in his sit stay . then to really rub it in, in his drop stay, the dog next to him broke and was play bowing around Cooper, and lil bugger stayed and looked at me, didn't even attempted to move :p ......i think he new he did bad in his sit stay :cool: any way.....is any one else going to the Ballarat trial???? hope to see some Dolers there

ok what about me i would love to join in too..... I have been doing trial training lessons with a few people 1 on 1 but can't find any one to help me sharping up my trail training. I am over in the western burbs, but Box hill is about 25 mins away, so would be happy to go there where in knox were u thinking?? this has been something i have been thinking about for a while

I have been thinking about giving clickers a go.....i tend to use a word then reward, but after reading this tread i might try it ;) can any one tell me where to get clickers cheap and what kind works best??????

arrr bugger just checked out what i am doing on those dates and have a obed trail on one and going away on the other ;) Do i have to attend a clinic day if i have already done one a while ago???? and i am past the pre-trial stage, so not really a beginner.......i really would like tio attend the lessons on Sunday though

sounds like it was a good day wish i could of been there, but i was enjoying relaxing by the side of a river love the pics guys......i am so inlove with Tia too ;) ;) shes soo cute.... i posted some pics of the sheepdog clinic that was on th 10th if any one wants to see ;) any one know when the next Aussie clup herding day is??? might have to try and go to the next one cheers sam

ok some pics as promised...... Cooper had a go at backing the sheep, which was fun and a few pics in the round yard I only manged to get a couple of pics (well my partner was taken the photos) he didn't mange to take any of any one else either Hay.....CrashTestDummyDid they give u a reason why you couldn't video type it seems a little odd ;) Would be happy to get that video of you, as Leopuppy asked in the other thread.....r u going to the RSPCA walk???? if you r i might go and that way we can meet up and get it off you there (saves postage) if not PM me your details and we can work out what to do from there ;) cheers sam

Hi guys wow what a day was really good..... very tiring but plenty of good info :D I think Cooper enjoyed him self too. and we got to have ago at backing, but i lost cooper for a while as he fell under the sheep :D we went on and went camping for the rest of the week end, Cooper slept pretty well that night ;) only got back last night, do have some pics so when i get a chance to put them on the computor i will post a couple. Hay......CrashTestDummy did you say you have a video of me and Cooper???? i would love to see it after you went home CTD they did a few demos of trails in the big yard, showing us how to pen them etc and also backing which was really good to see, very clever stuff cheers sam

I hope so, i am coming from western burbs, think its going to take an hr 1/2 to 2 hrs to get there. I am also going to make a camping trip out of it whlie i am up that way, and i got 3 dogs coming. am leaving bright and early in the morning, so if i get there and then they council i won't be happy u will know who i am, we got a fully loaded hilux see ya tomorrow sam

I would love to go too, but am going to the warragul sheepdog day on sat and coz where going out that way, we have decided to make it a camping trip too, so will be enjoying the bush and relaxing with my dogs instead :rolleyes: every time the Aussie club hold there training days, i always seem to have some thing on , i think the next one is when i have entered a obed trail too bugger
