When I tried Vets all natural balanced life, it just looked like ( De- constructed ) kibble , Very popular on Cooking shows -
WOW that has some fancy ingredients, I'll have to look up reviews for Orijen, on dog food advisor
-
@CharbearsMa I know polished floors are very slippery for dogs, I took Pandi to visit a friend with polished floors all thru the house , Pandi was slipping all over the floor , I put her lead on & kept her with me to protect her from falling over, it was quite shocking when your dog can't get their footing right because of very slippery floors

@crazydoglady99 Hi, maybe if you give the super-hair shedders a bath & blowdry every week or 2, that would wash out the loose hair, & help them feel cooler in Summer I clip Pandi every 8 weeks, bath each week- because I can see she feels good after a bath, she never smells doggy, she smells gorgeous

@Christine_72 What do you like about their recipe , over Australian made kibble, do you think it will be expensive
-
I also use both Original & small bites, my sister has her dog on Stay Loyal, all the dogs seem to think it's very tasty & they look healthy
-
I just ordered 2 small size, I hope they take a long time to chew, @jackmate the reviews are good for these chews on Dog Food Advisor

Pandi is a Toy poodle, very healthy & loves playing with her toys, 1 hour morning & 1hour evening, I do training at home with her in this time as well, the rest of the day she spends sleeping next to me, and whatever I'm doing at the time. Pandi is 2 years old & a lovely sensible dog, as a pup she was quite playful, & I think all pups take a lot of your time, that's to be expected they are babies. I love that she does not shed hair all over the house, in my bed, on my lounge, I learned to groom her myself, & find it easy now she is older & sensible

Toilet training on command HELP!

Are you saying your pup bites you hard enough for blood loss when he goes toileting or when your picking up after him, that seems unusual -
I just discovered Somerford Raw, on ebay and the formula looks really interesting, I ordered a few different meats that are sent frozen to your house by courier. I'm excited for Pandi having a new raw balanced meal to try. Does anyone here use Somerford Raw & Natural, Did your dogs do well on the recipes?

That's interesting, I thought most dogs would be upset leaving home, then the back & forth for grooming with his mum, and then going again I'm probably thinking about this emotionally, I would be so sad to lose my girl

@JulesP Has your mum found any sheltie babies she likes yet
-
@Rascalmyshadow if Hugo comes back home for grooming, he will want to stay home with you, he might be upset with that situation, my little girl would cry for me

Maybe your older daughter could take care of Hugo, keep him away from the babies & become his special person who feeds him treats. I think you might be too upset about Hugo living in someone else's home, not knowing how he is being looked after & trained, Please don't give up yet, Best wishes -
Good decision, hard but best for Jax- I hope he has a speedy recovery

2 or 3 meals a day, or free feeding? Tiny Dog!

Thanks, @Papillon Kisses very interesting link, I have quite a few different treat toys & puzzle feeders, Pandi loves them, thanks to you for sending toy links The one toy she can't figure out is tug a jug, bottle with rope, this one gets her very wound up & upset, so I've put it away for now , Her special toys at the moment are a 3L orange juice bottle put inside a shirt sleeve knotted at both ends, & the washed lids from milk bottles 5 or 8 in a shirt sleeve knotted at each end, Pandi chews them crazy, shakes them & plays chasey games, she has so much fun with the plastic she loves the noise it makes, & best thing when the toy is ruined I can make another one easy, no problem it's free -
@Papillon Kisses Do you know why Malcolm is anxious , when did his anxiety start

I like the colour & warmth of cork tiles, a friend has them in her kitchen, she said she hasn't broken any coffee cups or dinner plates since the cork tiles have been down, said they bounce
