Thanks Guys, His Diet is pretty Decent i give him Blackhawk Dry food in the mornings and then i make his dinners with Brown Rice, Chicken mince and plenty of veges. I give him one fish oil tablet a day, and a couple of chicken necks also. Do you think giving him immune boosters would help??

Hi Guys, So my seven month old bulldog is being treated for Demodex mites at the moment, Its his Second round of injections as the skin scrape after the first 4 weeks still had "some" living mites according to the vet (along with a lot of dead ones). The vet is using 1.2ml of Dectomax, from what ive read Decotmax isn't that great for dogs... Although hes never had any sever symptoms only some very small balding spots it seems like abit of overkill from the vet. He doesnt have any symptoms now, though the vet still thinks we should get another 4 weeks of injections, Does anyone have some info on ways to treat the mites from home ? cheers, Cam.

Hey Guys, I have recently been noticing some clumsiness/weakness in my nearly 6 month old Bulldog Pups back legs. He also has a 'bunny hop' gait when he is running. when he is walking he kind of drags his back legs aswell. He doesn't seem to show any pain what so ever though and will attempt to jump on the couch/bed As a first time dog owner i immediately took him to the vet to get him checked out.. at that stage he was around 4-5 months old and the vet didnt X-ray him just did some movement tests on him and seemed to think it was because of lack of muscle development around his legs. After doing some google-ing on different dog websites its seems as though he has SOME tell-tail signs of HD. Has anyone heard of it developing in such a young age in a pup? And if so is what are you experiences with it?? Cheers.
