My chi's would hear the cats using the covered litter tray and rush to it. They would then wait patiently :rolleyes: until my cats had finished and then clean up after them!! ;) Only solution i could think of was using the bathtub! The OH loves that!

Thanks, Lillypilly. I'll either get one from there or organise a session with K9 Force. Will have to wait awhile though- the OH isn't too happy about me spending $60 for a collar,only for it to be confiscated!

So how did you guys find out your info cause when i tried to research there wasnt much available especially about them being illegal to import.Where do you purchase one from and have any of you been in trouble for using one?

Hi Everyone! Sorry, everyone must be sick of this topic by now but i need to have an answer! Four weeks ago i used a friend's prong collar for the first time and it worked wonders with my 55kg bullmastiff. She was so calm and controlled even when a cat crossed her path! Looking on the net for any info on legislations re these collars, i couldn't find ANYTHING saying that they are illegal in NSW, only in Vic. So i went on ebay, sized one up and ordered one. I waited excitedly for weeks until i got notice that it had arrived. Only i just went and got the mail, and found a package full of forms from customs saying that they have seized the device!!! They are saying that i have to go to court and get a permit for it! What is the story? i don't want the collar bad enough to go to court! Surely it isn't illegal here?! i have seen people using them and many DOLers use them! i'm hoping K9 Force can set this straight! Help! And i have another prong collar to arrive at my house in two weeks time, for a friend!
