I use interceptor on both my shepherd and chihuahua and then use frontline, have never had a problem with it and find it works well for us.

I do it however i use frontline f and ive not had any problems, it does save me a fair bit of money. I agree that the manufactures dont wont you to do it that way as they get less money from you only buying one packet. -
Thanks for that info Miranda, the legs were straight from birth until now (6 months) when they started to turn, i hope they will straighten, i will give him vit c more regularly and hope for an improvement. When i stack him it is fine (feet the way they should be, if i place them correctly he leaves them) but when he stops after walking around etc he stands east west

I feed proplan performance which is has 30% protein. I am at a loss at what to do BTW he has nearly finished his teething

Thanks for the replys. Its not a fault that pup has had, the feet were lovely until a short time ago when i noticed they were turning outwards (i have started to majorly stress about it). I give them ester c a couple times a week. Could it have anything to do with the food being very high in protein?

Hey guys sorry if this has been asked before (done a search but couldnt find anything) i have a young dog who's feet are starting to become quite east west. I was wondering if there is anything that i can do to correct them i cant seem to find much info about this and any advice would be appriciated. Thanks

Thanks so much for your replies, I thought that it was not to bad but i stress at anything. The area which i sprayed was dry when i let her out but i totally forgot that she should have been supervised as i had sprayed.

I am a little worried as yesterday i sprayed some weeds and grass with glyphosate (?) which is meant to be a weed and grass killer it came in a yellow bottle and the stuff was blue. I left my dog inside when i was using it. I let her outside around an hour and a half later while i was taking the laundry off the line and i turned around and i saw her trying to eat some grass which was near the part that i had sprayed and i am not sure whether or not i sprayed that grass to. I stoped her from eating the grass but i think that she probably would have licked the grass before i told her to stop. Today she is acting fine and ate all her breakfast. But i was wondering do you think that she is ok? or should i get someone to take her to the vets. I tried to do a google search but could not find any answers that would help, so hopefully one of you very knowedgeable DOL'ers can put my mind at ease. By the way furkid is a chihuahua so she is only tiny.

;) Just a thought maybe you could put the leash on him while he is at home and he can just walk around freely with it (supervised of course) and then after a few days with him being use to wearing the lease around the house you could take the other end of the leash still around the house and follow him and then start to take him outside after he is use to having the leash on. Thats just my suggestion and im sure some other DOL'S will be able to provide you with some more and possibly better ways to help you.

I too was wondering how much joint guard to give my dog i am going to purchase some on the weekend although she is only 1.8 kg and the lowest dose they have is for a 5kg dog?
-
Yes thank you i have been able to locate a pet supply store close to me and they seem to be reasonal (although costs is not a issue) i think for memory it was $17 to $20 depending on the size of the bottle. Well worth it i think from all the great reviews that it has been getting. It is just so hard to know whats a great product when there are so many out there on the market and most sales people will tell you just about anything (partly due to them not knowing i believe).

Thank you all so much for your helpful advice I think i will try the Aloveen for now does anyone know where to purchase it from (im in Sydney) but if i cant get any then i will most certainly try Plush Puppy This is such a great forum as everyone here is so nice (and helpful) especially to someone new (althought i have been here alot and thought may as well join) unlike many other forums that you find where members are so nasty. Love it here and THANK YOU HEAPS again from both me and my chihuahua Roxy :D :fetch:

i have a chihuahua (long coat) named Roxy, she is tri coloured mainly white and tan with a little black. At the moment her coat is dry but i know that its from the cheap shampoo. She doesnt have any problems other than that i dont think Should you also use conditioner?
