  1. I can recommend Meredith at Weston Creek Veterinary Hospital at Waramanga.
  2. They look fantastic - you have done a great job. I will forward the photos to Kerrie.
  3. We are really happy to see the way they have responded to some TLC, regular meals, vet care, warm dry beds. They are all very affectionate. Their DNA tests have just been sent off and that will tell us whether they are crosses or just badly bred.
  4. All the Koolies are now looking like Koolies - progress photographs are in the Rescue Forum. Koolie Rescue wants to thank everyone for their help and support.
  5. All the dogs we took in now look like dogs, they have now been desexed and their mange has cleared up - a few already have forever homes to go to and we are looking for homes for the others. Koolie Rescue is very grateful for all the help you have given us with these dogs: This is Tina Turner who prefers to answer to Turner - she is going to live with an autistic boy who wanted a rescue dog and picked her out from her photo
  6. I thought so too. I am waiting for vet reports and photographs of the sixteen dogs to come to me and then I will be takng them on and also the minister and the council. Problem is that I am now confined to bed with gastric flu and can barely move. I hope it goes soon.
  7. The authorities (RSPCA and the local council) have known about this for some years without taking action. The RSPCA claim to be powerless.
  8. They are on 4 small meals a day with supplements at the moment - most are doing well on it, just the one boy who seems fine but is not putting on weight.
  9. Well all the females have put on some weight while they have been fostered, despite the fact that three are pregnant. The pups are also going OK - coats improving and putting on weight. The white male is not putting on weight despite eating well. Would satin balls help in this situation?
  10. Their faces are the wrong shape for pure koolies. We are trying out everyone's suggestions for making them more comfortable. Thank you all for all your help and offers of help.
  11. Could you please send it to Kerrie Challenger, RMB 6150, Strathallen Road, Bamawm Vic. 3561. Thank you very much.
  12. They have all been taken to the vet and had treatment but some of the dogs are still uncomfortable.
  13. Do you have any recommendations for how to treat it? Is there anything the foster carers can do to make the dogs more comfortable?
  14. All the dogs are in Victoria - any written advice you can give would be much appreciated. The two I met yesterday are having problems being toilet trained so any advice would be appreciated by their owners as well.
