  1. Is it just certain breeds that MUST NOT GREET YOU without something shoved in their mouth? Fly WILL NOT come and say hello, till she has found something to pick up. If she cant find anything she will get her blanket off her bed and drag it over. Then, this is followed by several passes by with object in mouth, squished up faces with inside out ears, growling by Fly and some kind of moaning by Ruger. All together with lots of body wagging. Its very noisy and happens every time. Even when i go down the driveway and come back up again.
  2. Yep it was a good idea Love the kitty photo! and good first try BeeB
  3. One to mine in the morning, like their ritual, i open the garage door and there they are with their mouths open, sleepily carry them off to bed, gone within seconds here

  11. i cant see em either...try reloading one bigger?
  12. get the 18-200, its a tiny lens. about this long: ____________________________________________________________ eta my lines didnt work _________________________________________ Most versitile lens and it is a standard walkabout and light. Can get for under 1000
  13. Im not sure if the Canon People will agree, but some of their kit lenses are fairly shit. Nikon are more expensive but they seem to have fairly decent kit lenses. I bought a Nikon D300, which is not entry level, but it came with the 18-200. Its a great lens. There is also a massive difference in quality of the Nikon 50mm 1.8 and the Canon 50. For you in the Nikon Range I would suggest a D80 or D90 andd grab a 18-200 VR as a kit lens. Its a really really really versitile lens and you probably wont need another lens for a good while till you develop some kind of need. Have a look at Nikon on Broadway in Sydney www.nikononbroadway.com.au They ship and are competitive.
  14. Im pretty sure its the water that goes into the rear end Funny thread.

  16. If you had actually prepared for the shot, thats when I'd be worried? if i left my camera on 200 i'd get a bit of sky blowout depends on your light metering also.
  17. that happens here, Ruger always seems to snatch fly's treat up and I compensate with something like bread and she's all disappointed
