I was wondering why my colours were so ummmmmmmm vivid. Thats because I left the settings colour settings on 'vivid' in the program menu :D I dont like this one cos the sun was rising and half of ruger was in the shadow, so had to fool around with lighting too much.

Those flowers in the pot look really really cool

Yes buddy Depth of Field. Some Harvey places suck. Some just really dont specialise in Cameras like they think they do. Norwest Hardly had such a big range of Nikon and Canon stuff. Harvey at Castle Hill didnt even stock lenses
-
nah cannon are supposed to be great too. Just not AS great
-
No matter Vickie at least you got one in stock. Ness its just such a nice little sharp lens to use. I did hear that the 1.8 cannon is flimsy or plasticy but that could just be a rumour
-
This is with the D3 and the other 50mm 1.8 Shot on Jpeg large/fine Havnt shot RAW in good light yet but Im liking what the Jpeg file throws in the way of colour. This one hasnt been adjusted at all. ETA click on the file the reduced one looks crap
-
Wow are they as pricey as the nikon 1.4 I wonder? The 1.8 nikon is such good value for a bubba lens. I have the older 50mm 1.8 at work. Thats where I found it and fell in love
-
Rocco you silly billy, that is Fly Ruger is beneath thus "Boogs" :D Thanks Kirs. Its the 50mm. I rushed out when it got a bit stormy looking. I cant remember but I think I had the App opened up a little. Tokkie, you have really nailed the whole DOF aspect

Well Sydney was too far to drive so i rang around today. Can you believe not only did Hardly normal just up the road have them in stock, they almost matched the NOB price, they did have a tag of $219 which is RRP and they sold it to me for $181 well done to them I say. this is a bit crapola as I took it in Raw and have no idea how to post process properly yet and it was getting dark etc etc but here's the first shot. I need to play with Raw a bit more I think. Needs more colour, but i think that may have been the way I took it anyway. Oh here is boogs cant forget him

I dont think it has anything to do with breed size. A staffy wondered into Ruger's specialist for a double whammy hip replacement. I would never ever ever ever ever ever x 1000,00000 buy a lab without tested parents. and their parents before theirs. Then you still have to be careful raising it.

Im not really arty at all or a photographer of any sorts what soever, so my opinion is just my own opinion. I love it. I just dont love his head being chopped off at the top.
-
Thanks Puggy! the rubbed area is on his thumb and top of the big pad. He's not walking on the foot much so I guess i could do it when he is asleep.
-
Ruger has rubbed the skin off his pads whilst wearing his splint, is there something that is good for this? Also any ideas for what to put onto a fresh surgical wound to prevent infection? They are burried stitches.

All the best wishes for your baby.....

I think you should chuck out all your cannon stuff and buy a Nikon D90
-
Tess you pretty much know your way around a camera from what I have seen. I dont know anything about Cannon, but if you really want to 'upgrade' Go for the 50D?
