You guys are doing great. It is hard at first to work out what you are actually focusing on if you are using a lower f stop number isnt it. Depends on yoru focusing system etc, I think I have 21 points or something like that. If your on auto settings, are you using spot, metering or matrix?

Hi Firestone. That was a Nikon 1.8 lens. I just had that photo printed Im really happy with it. it came out nice and sharp, I think the prints were 8 x 10 not sure. Your a Sydney exhibiter right? I really want to photograph a moving sheppie and never get there as GSP's always clash  Rocco, Fly said she will play wif Roc too only cos she is a fat kid too Hrm.......*note to self, spell Cannon incorrectly*

Poor Amos is a boy dog  I should have added his name. he is 8months old. Yep I show, but not Ruger anymore, he got his Aust Title and Fly was an obedience nut. I show nearly every weekend, except lately cos the kids I handle's Aunty had babies so we are too busy playing with them. When I have time I go out to the nearby shows to practice photography.

I hope so i liked him

I dont really know much about post production yet, I've done some pretty bad background removing, and now Im kind of playing with lighting. I dont even know which one I prefer. Im going to print one of them. Straight off camera with border from Flikr This one I have played with shadows/lighting and used the auto for that This one I think I like better, I changed the lighting myself.. -
Thanks Rock. Fly said she would love to play wif Ralph.
-
If you have PS, try this. Select the photo, go to Edit, Stroke and then pick a colour for the border and width. I usually put 10 or 15 in and click and there is your border. Rugerfly - I shall plonk my parrot in the tree later today and take a shot. He was disappointed to find the tree is not real after trying to preen a leaf. He does like the lights on it at night though. Cool, hopefully he is happy enough to stay there

Is your lens on properly? do you have an appature ring? Good idea Chezz heaps of stuff comes up on google. sounds common http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=74937
-
I think you can do it in photobucket I do it in Flikr in the create section. Just makes the photo a bit tidy. Some photos dont need it at all I think.
-
Dont you hate it when you miss a perfect shot.....cos your not quick enough on Manual settings... Then you eventually get it right :D Thats my fav one of Ruger so far with no photoshopping etc.
-
Hey he is so cute Rip, yes put it in the tree!!! This is a rare wild deer eating monster, often found in the deepest parts of the Hills.
